Thank you to 3Doodler for providing me with products to facilitate my post. All opinions are 100% my own.
For a few months now, my daughters have been talking about 3D printing. Our local library has had a 3D printer on site for patrons to see, learn about, and play with. The girls haven’t been able to take advantage of the library’s 3D printer, but have asked3D questions about how it works. I have to admit, I too find it fascinating.
I was doing some basic research on 3D printing to answer a few questions for the girls. That is when I stumbled upon 3Doodler.
3Doodler lets kids create 3D objects with their easy to use Product Design Pen Set. The Product Design Pen Set comes with a 3Doodler Start Pen, USB, Activity Guide, four Mixed Plastic Packs, five DoodleSheets, two DoodleBlocks, Sphere Design DoodleMold, and a Watch Face.
No, the 3Doodler is not a 3D printer, but it does allow you to create 3D objects. With the 3Doodler Product Design Pen Sets, my girls will get to design and create 3D entertainment items and functional goods. They can make one-of-a-kind accessories, personalize school supplies, embellish cases, build 3D friends, or anything else they come up with.
Once the girls have used the products that came with their Product Design Pen Sets, I can easily purchase more materials for them to build with. 3Doodler has several plastic and accessory kits to choose from. I can also get them different pen sets as their skills develop.
I am excited to see the girls open the 3Doodler Product Design Pen Sets on Christmas morning. I hope they let me play with them too!

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

Wow! I’ve never seen anything like this. My daughter loves crafts and building things. It’s also a great way to personalize her school supplies.

This is a really neat idea. I would love to give this to my nephew when he is just a bit older.

These are pretty cool. takes a steady hand though. I think Alysia might have to be a bit older to do this.
How super fun!! I love that there is not much of a limit of what you can create with this!! Plus you can make things you can use and admire for a long time!!
