Ryan has a desktop that he uses for his work, and I have a laptop that I use. We both have phones, and we have two tablets. Still, it seems like we are constantly running out of storage space for our photos. I take a lot of photos of my nieces and nephews, as well as photos for blog posts. I recently purchased my first DSLR, and the files are pretty large.
I know that many of my friends and family members struggle with running out of space on their devices too. If you know someone who needs more space, a backup storage device from Seagate world make a great practical gift.
The Seagate BackUp Plus Slim is so small it can fit in your pocket. It is available in 1TB or 2TB sizes. A few years ago I first heard Ryan say Terabyte and I asked what it was. There are 1000 GB in a TB. That’s a lot of space! They are available in gold and silver colors. I love the gold version because gold is a really popular color right now.
When I got mine, I moved over all of my photos from my computer to the drive. It’s been wonderful to have more space on my computer again. I plan to do the same thing with my phone and tablet to keep everything running more efficiently. Plus, I love the peace of mind that comes with having all of my files still saved on a physical drive in my home.
For older family members, it could be a wonderful gift to scan old printed photos and save them on a drive so they have copies to view on their PC.
