I love nostalgic products. Whenever something brings me back to great childhood memories, I’m all for it. Whenever I drive past the closed down restaurant in my home town, my mind wanders back to going there with my grandparents on bowling night. I LOVED throwing a ball at the end. Passing the old bar on Main Street brings back memories of sitting at the counter with my orange pop. But another great memory is from playing video arcade games. That was always a special treat that happened at several locations throughout the year. So when I saw the Super Retro-Cade, memories of great times came flooding back in!

Small In Size But Big In Play
I love the compact design that the Super Retro-Cade features while still delivering a big punch. Having games that are built in versus switching out cartridges is a huge space saver as well.
Set Up
Getting the system set up and running was super easy. Simply plug it in, switch over the settings on the tv, and you’re good to go. Literally took a few minutes. The view on our screen is quite good too.
And the controllers are easy to use too.
Overall Thoughts
Honestly, this little system provides hours of fun through over 90 games for the price of just ONE current day game. We haven’t tried all the games yet but the ones we have tried are fun. A few are slow to load but overall, for the price point, this is a great choice.
We let the kids have screen time on Saturday mornings and Super Retro-Cade has brought lots of fun to their weekend!

Old stuff is becoming new again. From the candy bars to computer games and all the stuff in the middle. Not sure if they are after the young kids/people or if they are after a mix which includes all the adults that remember when.
