I was sent Tynies for my holiday gift guide. All opinions are my own.
I have an 11 year old niece who has loved playing with small animal figurines for years now. I think she started this interest around 3 years old! Somewhere along the way, she became interested in glass knick knack type figurines. She is careful and responsible with them, so they became used as toys for her. It was rather unconventional but she’s done well with them, so why not?
More recently, she’s become interested in having sets of animals. She likes having a big wolf and a little wolf or a big penguin and a little penguin to sort of play “family” with them. When I came across Tynies handmade glass animal figurines I knew she would love them. They come in many different animal designs, and I thought she could pair them with some of her bigger animal figurines so that the Tynies could be the babies! They come sealed in frames, but the frames snap open so you can remove them and then add them back in later for safe keeping. They came in the mail safely wrapped and in great shape. They are truly tiny, roughly the size of a quarter each.
Tynies are typical $7 each but right now if you sign up for their email newsletter you’ll be given a code to get 3 for $15 total.
Some of the figurines come in different colors, so if you see an animal that you like on the main page be sure to click on it to check if it comes in other colors. I think my niece will be a particular fan of the penguin set because it includes a parent and baby all in one!
Tynies do retire after a time, so if you see currently available ones that you like, be sure to pick them up before it’s too late.

These are very cute. I remember when I was a kid I used to collect tiny ceramic animals. I couldn’t wait to have a little of my own money to buy one to add to my collection.

I really love glass products. These are very cute and I like that they come in sealed frames so they can be protected. I also love that the animals come in other color options.

These are so cute and small sizes in glass are really hard to find. I like them to go in the rocks in plants. The color and the surprise when somebody looks and then looks again. I look for them in thrifty stores all the time but going to have to check these out.

These are so cute. I could se collecting them quite easily. I love how the sun shines through them. These would be fun to have in cubes as you did, or somewhere where the sun would hit them.
What a cute little glass dinosaur to adopt
