I was sent a Web Riderz swing for the 2017 holiday gift guide. All opinions are my own.
More of my nieces and nephews are reaching ages where they are not quite teens. They aren’t done playing with toys entirely, but more and more toys are on their “that’s lame” list. Kids in roughly that 11-13 age range are so tricky to shop for! I love encouraging kids to get outside, but it gets harder to entertain kids while they are outside as they get older.
I noticed that my 11 & 12-year-old niece and nephew really like a hammock swing that their grandma has. They spend more time on that when outside than anything else. I went looking for a cool swing that was suitable for kids of their age, and came across the Web Riderz Web Swing. This swing can hold up to 600 pounds, so outgrowing it isn’t a concern. It is 39 inches across, so even adults can sort of lean back with their legs curled up, and relax while using this swing. Or multiple people (or kids) can sit on this swing if sitting upright. The website says it’s big enough for 1-2 kids to spread out on, or four to sit on!
It is recommended for kids ages 5+, but I think it will interest kids of any age and adults can even join in! The swing comes in plain black which is great for older kids. For younger kids “snowflurry” which is blue and purple and may remind you of a snow princess. “Superhero” is red, blue and black and is of course themed after a superhero who uses webs. Then tickled pick is a plain pink swing.
It’s made with UV inhibited polyethylene rope which keeps its strength whether wet or dry, making it safe to stay outside. It comes ready to hang and can be used on a tree or on a swingset. The ropes are very long at 64 inches, so it will be low to the ground on a smaller swingset.

What a great idea. I’m thinking – Where can I put this? What about my niece – my daughter? I can just imagine the fun the kids would have.

I think this swing is totally fun looking. I can see older kids on it as well as adults. I mean I LOVE it, I would sit and swing in it ! I like how sturdy it looks and I bet it hold up quite well.

I also try to encourage my kids to play outside as much as possible and this swing would definitely help make it more fun for them. I like that it can hold more than one kid at a time too.

Wow, this is definitely a great gift idea for kids! I love that they have different themes, although I would most likely get neutral so all three of my kids could share it. 🙂 It is also a great design too, much better than the old tire swing that I had as a kid. Thanks for sharing!

This is great. I like how it will hold up in the weather outside and comes in different color choices. Looks like it would be sturdy and fun.

This looks like a lot of fun, my girls would’ve loved it when they were little. It’s good that it can be left our year round.

These are so cute. One would be perfect in our tree. I want one for the girls.
This is a neat idea! I think a multi-person swing will always be a hit. It also looks roomy enough for younger children to lounge and read a book on .
