Jambukd map boots review

Thank you to M.A.P. and Jambu Kids for providing me with product in exchange for review. All opinions expressed are my own.

When you live in Michigan you have to prepare for the cold winter weather. Buying high quality adult winter boots is usually not an issue because there are so many options available. High quality children’s boots on the other hand are tougher to find. In Michigan it’s important to find children’s winter boots that are not only warm but waterproof as well given that we deal with bitter temperatures and slushy wet snow all in the same week.

We received Jambukd Venom boots for my son in size 11. Using their provided size chart was really easy and simple and the sizing in the actual boot was true to size. My son goes out into the cold wintery snow for at least an hour or more at a time and has never once come back in with cold or wet feet despite the type or depth of snow. The calf portion of the boot is perfect for my son as it is stiff enough for my son to just slip in and out of without too much effort. The calf portion of the boot also has adjustment straps but none have needed adjusting thus far.

My daughter received the M.A.P. Coralie-T winter boots in size 7. My daughter does occasionally come in cold all over but her feet and socks are always dry. It’s worth mentioning that these boots are aimed a bit more for toddler sizing as the calf portion of the boots is quite short for a winter boot. If my daughter wears her entire snow suit, the shorter calf isn’t typically a problem as the pant legs cover her upper boot. When my daughter just quickly throws her boots on and heads out into the snow, the depth of the snow can be an issue as most times in Michigan the snow is about 6 inches or more for periods of time. The zipper along the side is also a bit tough for my almost 4 year old daughter to do on her own.

Both boots have done amazingly well in this years Michigan winter and I would highly recommend both M.A.P. and Jambu for little ones feet. Colors and styles offered are so incredibly cute for both genders!

They look like they’re plenty warm! I’m with you, gotta have dry feet or the whole deal is off!!

I am so glad that we do not have that snow here. We have had some snow but it is an oddity. I love the boots. My granddaughters can use them in NC.

These definitely sound like high quality snow boots! My whole family is from Michigan, so I know how important it is for them to have good boots as well as all over gear for snow and rain. We visit them often in the winter just so we can enjoy the snow (we live in Texas)! Thanks for sharing! 🙂

These are really adorable boots! My sister lives in Michigan also and her grandchildren could use boots like these too! I heard about the winters there.

OK first off the kids are adorable and kids in snowsuits especially so! I am in Iowa and can totally relate going from snow to slush within days. There is nothing worse than cold and wet feet. Once your feet are wet, thats about it. I also think tread is important! I love boh boots but really like the height on the ones you picked for your son- waterproof and nice and high would keep warm and dry. Both are good looking boots.

These boots look super warm, stylish and will hold up for many years. I like that these come up so high above the calf.

Really warm boots for any age are hard to find. I Love the look of both of the boots you picked out. They not only look warm but they look comfortable!
