I received product from Swap.com to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.
Do you remember heading to the mall as a teen and spending the entire day shopping? I used to LOVE it! Our local mall had enough stores to keep us entertained for hours. Sadly though, those days are gone. While the mall still stands, and seems bigger than ever after a few additions, my time to shop has dramatically decreased. But with a family of seven, I still need a variety of clothes at any given time. So I’ve turned to online shopping. Except I don’t always like the prices I see. So that’s where Swap.com comes in.
What Is Swap.com?
Swap.com is the largest online consignment and thrift shop who offers more than 2 million first-quality secondhand items for you to choose from! Brands vary and include popular choices such as Gap, Calvin Klein, J. Crew, Cat & Jack, and so many others! Shopping for the latest trends and fashions on Swap.com is a great way for the whole family to look great for less. And not only do they have clothes, they also have toys, outdoor gear, and more!
Going A Bit Green – A Great Reason To Shop Swap
You even get to feel great about shopping Swap.com! The site also offers shoppers from all over a sustainable way to shop AND save by keeping clothes out of landfills, and giving them a second life. Plus, it’s the ultimate destination for going green and saving big, all while shopping for the trendiest fashion staples from the comfort of your own home. Meaning you save time, money, gas, and resources.
Time To Shop
I jumped over to the Swap.com site and narrowed my search. The, I was also able to narrow the results down even further by indicating my size and condition preference.
In no time at all, I was scrolling through thousands of results that met my criteria. The biggest plus that I love about Swap.com is that they use NO stock photos! All their photos are of the actual item itself! I found this especially helpful when gauging the length of shirts.
My Order
I was able to find 11 different pieces that totaled $114.40. It was a combination of one children’s item and eleven pieces from the women’s department for my daughter and I. (All but one item pictured below.)
Inspection
Upon opening the box, I was thrilled to see each item was individually bagged. This was especially important as the bottom of the box was slightly damp from being set in a snow bank and the clothing could have been affected had they been packaged differently.
Did They Fit?
We got right to trying everything on and, for the most part, were happy. It was fun having a little in-home fashion show and seeing that items were described correctly and in great shape.
Returns
Thankfully, Swap.com has a great return policy and even pays for the shipping back. Because sadly, three items just didn’t end up working for us. So I went to their site, signed in to my account, and clicked on the items I needed to send back. I had to select the reason why from a drop down menu and then they also had a box for additional comments if needed. But it was all quick and simple and a return label was emailed to me in minutes.
My account will be credited once they receive my return and confirm the items were sent back correctly.
Overall Thoughts
Shopping at Swap.com was really easy and fun. I loved that they make it simple to narrow down searches. And the fact that their inventory is so big means that they truly have something for everyone.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I do believe in shopping for used clothes. Thrift stores are where I usually shop. This looks like a good site to try out.
