I was sent a BroBasket for review. All opinions are my own.
We run a lot of gift guides here at Emily Reviews, and have for many years now. So, I find it mildly embarrassing that I often stils struggle to come up with gift ideas for my own boyfriend! Well, let me take that back. I struggle to come up with gift ideas that he’ll really, truly be eager to receive. He’s a very practical guy who is happy to get by with a wardrobe of many a dozen outfits, he isn’t into any hobbies that involve regular purchases, he just doesn’t use that much “stuff” on a daily basis. I often find myself getting him practical gifts, like a new pair of winter boots, for gift-giving occasions. He’s kind to me when receiving practical gifts, and he genuinely does appreciate them – but they just aren’t fun.
Ryan’s birthday was about two weeks ago, and I knew of a few practical gift ideas, things he needed. I was struggling to come up with something he would just have fun with, and then I remembered BroBaskets.
BroBasket is an online website that specializes in gift baskets for men. Most of their gift baskets feature alcohol of some kind. They have beer gift baskets, spirit gift baskets, and then some snack based gift baskets that are alcohol-free. We “settled down” very young, and we’ve never been ones to go to the bar or go go to parties more than a couple of times per year. Ryan enjoys a good drink though. We don’t have much experience with trying specific cocktails, so I like how several Bro Baskets are centered around a certain cocktail. I thought it would be the perfect way to try a something new. I chose The Classic Gin and Tonic gift basket for Ryan’s birthday gift. The gift set includes tonic water, Bombay Sapphire Extra Dry, a lime, a tumbler, and gourmet popcorn. It all comes in a reusable black tin.
Ryan was excited to get this gift and to try out a gin and tonic for the first time. I love giving gifts that sort of feel like experiences, and BroBasket can definitely fit that bill if you use it to try a new drink. I appreciate how the bin and the glass were both of nice quality, as well. BroBasket doesn’t do anything in low quality. We’ve reused some of the past BroBasket tins and cups/glasses and everything has held up nicely.
If you have a guy in your life who is sometimes hard to shop for, I definitely recommend that you try BroBasket.

This looks wonderful! I can’t think of anything nicer than drinking gin and eat caramel corn!

Well, I will have to check them out. It is hard picking a good gift for some men.

This is seriously the best, men can be so hard to buy gifts for! I love that you can customize it to their likes as well. 🙂 This is definitely something I will be using in the future, thanks for sharing!
