Thank you to National Geographic for sending product for review in exchange for my honest opinion.
I love to read, and my daughter seems to have inherited my love for books too! Reading with your child creates such a special bond. National Geographic offers a wide range of books for all ages that can create talking points for you and your child(ren). For us right now, since our daughter is two, we work a lot on naming different animals/objects, colors and shapes. Check out these great titles from National Geographic, sure to get you and your children talking!
Somebunny Loves Me by Parry Gripp is a favorite in our home right now (along with the sweet, soft, stuffed bunny that came as part of the Spring Prize Pack that you have a chance to win below!) Somebunny Loves Me is made for children ages 4-8. I feel it is appropriate for younger readers too. It has beautiful full page photographs paired with rhymes about different pets. Since we have a pet bunny, and our daughter loves animals in general, this book is a big hit.
Also included in the Spring Prize Pack is Who’s Who in the Bible. This book is geared to ages 8-12. Paging through the book, I even learned a few things! I love the easy-to-read layout and the alphabetical index so if you want to look up a specific person it is easy to do so. I can see us pulling this book out in the future as our daughter gets older to help her learn about Jesus and others in the Bible. This could be a great first communion gift.
A Seed is the Start by Melissa Stewart is the perfect book for spring. Your budding little scientists/gardeners can learn about how seeds grow, the way seeds travel and what it takes for a seed to become a plant. Perfect for children ages 6-9, this would be a fun book to gift along with a packet of flower or vegetable seeds, so they can see first hand what they are learning from the book! Eye-catching photographs are sure to have your little ones ready to get growing!
The final book, and possibly my favorite right now from National Geographic is 100 Ways to Make the World Better. Geared to ages 8-12 this book encourages children to take action with hands-on, doable activities. This book is packed with positive and practical ideas that will empower children to consider acts of kindness. Ideas are presented as simple concepts and are paired with photographs and information on how to make those ideas reality. Children can realize their own power to make a difference and how their actions can cause positive outcomes.

Hi, my name is Asha. I am 34-years-old and am a nurse by profession. Right now I am battling Breast Cancer. My husband and I have been married for 8 years and together we have a sweet seven-year-old daughter, a fun four-year-old son, and a lovable bunny named Caramel. I enjoy spending time with family, taking photographs, scrapbooking, hunting, fishing, cooking and gardening.

I love anything National Geographic does. There isn’t a movie I wouldn’t watch or a magazine/book I wouldn’t enjoy reading.

Awww, this is a great prize. I’m sure some little person will enjoy it. Kids need more activities like this in their lives.
