Do you ever want to just sit down with the family and watch a movie but don’t know what to see? While we limit screen time majorly in our home, about once a month we love having family movie night. Sometimes we skip out during the summer and just hang out in the yard till well past bedtime. But throughout the year, it’s always nice to have some options for in-climate weather. While I knot you can get movies digitally from many places, we don’t subscribe to any. So instead, we utilize our local library where we are able to check out movies for free.
List Of 66 Movies That Are Perfect For Family Movie Night
We’re not picky. Our family enjoys a mix of animated and non-animated so I’ve included both in this list. I hope you find some oldie but goodies that you’ve seen and loved but forgotten as well as find some new ones to consider. So without further ado, check out my list.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

That’s a long list. I’ve seen and enjoyed most of them.

I like your list. The majority we have seen. You forgot the Back to the Future movies those we also enjoy. Movie night is fun and we also dont subscribe so having movie swaps with others is always a good idea.

Great list. Thank you! I would add a few that I think should rank high on the list: Flight of the Navigator, The Rookie (with Dennis Quaid), The Perfect Game, War Games, Back to the Future I-III, ET, The Little Giants, Jack Frost, Last Action Hero, and Running Brave if you can find it.

I don’t subscribe to anything either. The library is such a good place to get movies (and books, and CDs, etc.)
