My family loves to camp! I camped all while growing up and so did my husband. No surprise that we both want to share the love of camping with our children. Last year we went on two camping ventures to beautiful Lake Michigan. Our kids loved the outdoors time, the fun of cooking right over a fire and walking the camp grounds during off time. Although we faced a different challenge once our youngest baby was born. Baby Link loves to rock in the rocking chair, and I cant imagine trying to put him to sleep for the night without one. Which is why I was so glad to find out that GCI has a foldable rocking chair!

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the Roadtrip Rocker from GCI Outdoor. Not only does this chair fold up for easy transportation but also has a traveling case to keep the chair safe from weather and the like.

My husband wasn’t sure just how well this chair would glide considering it doesn’t have the tell tale banana shaped legs that a rocking chair typically has. He was incredibly impressed at the gliding motion experienced from this chair. Our little one relaxed right away in the chair.

I love that this chair supports a more rigid arm rest feature but that still included was a cup holder that hangs from the seat of the chair.

The breathable backing is something I am in love with as a nursing momma. Camping typically happens in the hotter months of the year and snuggling with a nursling isn’t the easiest when you’re stuck in a hot chair to boot. The breathable back of this chair allows for some much needed air flow on the back.

I would say that when this chair is folded up, it takes up about the same amount of space width wise as most other foldable chairs but is slightly longer/taller than other foldable chairs. The amazing benefits this chair has brought to us as campers with a little one is easily worth the little bit of extra space!
