I received product from TOMY to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
I was just talking to a friend this week about the difference between raising boys and girls. While she has a little girl already, they are expecting their first boy. Since I already have three boys (plus two girls), the topic turned to boys versus girls. She already knows all about little girls now. (And she’d babysat plenty for boys.) But jumping into the role of a “boy mom” is looking to be a little more nerve-racking than she thought. I honestly couldn’t disagree with her about them being different as raising boys is SO much different than girls. But not in a bad way! Heck, in the operating room after our first child, a girl, was born. The anesthesiologist looked at us and said “sorry, but girls are HARD!”
Over the years, I’ve come to agree that no matter if the parents and parenting methods are the same, boys and girls are just different. One very noticeable way is with play. My boys are all about trucks, tractors, dart guns, and action. So over the years, I’ve become a huge fan of TOMY and their John Deere line. John Deere Monster Treads Tractor
But today, I’m sharing the John Deere 8” Monster Treads Tractor with Wagon with you. Because every little farmer needs a tractor! And this one is sure appealing.
Lightweight with a strong plastic construction, this tractor is loads of fun. The loader raises and lowers easily. The Pivoting bucket is perfect for scooping and dumping. And the auger on the box rotates as well. Add in the super bouncy tires and this tractor is a fun addition to any pretend farming play.
So tell me, do you have any little kids in your life who would love this John Deere 8” Monster Treads Tractor With Wagon?

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

Those toys are very well made. They stand up to lots of hard play.

This looks like a well quality made toy! Believe it or not my daughter would have loved to play with this…with her Barbie dolls.

Looks like a fun toy. Yes, boys and girls are different. If, in the same family boys and girls do seem to end up playing with the others’ toys at some point. Maybe they’ll not play with them in the same type of pretend play, but they’ll still be there along-side the others toys.

This would be fun to play with as well as collect. My friend’s little boy has quite a few. His pappy is a farmer and he will play with his John Deer toys while pappy is in the field.
I had little boys. They are so easy for the toys but the clothes were not so good when they were young. I like John Deere toys too.
