Even though we limit screen time in our home, we love to enjoy a good movie from time to time. Usually once a month during the winter, we’ll even do a family movie night. But during a typical week, we do allow the kids to watch a few educational shows. But because regular television channels offer so many low-quality shows and commercials that we don’t want our kids to watch, we’ve actually turned to utilizing DVDs instead. I grew up reading The Cat In The Hat book and my love for Dr. Seuss is still going strong. So I’m glad that this hit PBS kids television show is easy to grab on dvd. Follow along on the adventures of 6 year old twins, Sally and Nick. They get whisked off on fun adventures of scientific discovery wherever The Cat In The Hat and the Thing-a-ma-jigger takes them!

I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates.
