My little guy is three weeks old already. The time is passing by so quickly! Starting at two-weeks-old I began using my Comfy Joey Ring Sling with him. I did not own a ring sling when my daughter was a baby, but my cousin borrowed me hers. I didn’t use it a whole lot, because honestly I wasn’t very sure how to wear it correctly and never took the time to look into it. My cousin has used a Comfy Joey ring sling with all of her little ones and loved it. So, this time around, a ring sling was one of the things I wanted to get right away, and Comfy Joey was my top choice.
I love that the Comfy Joey ring sling allows me to be ‘hands free’ while carrying my son. I can cook, clean, do laundry, and play with my daughter all while holding him, and he is comfy and safe.
The first couple times I used the Comfy Joey ring sling I had to do a little bit of adjusting, and I used the Comfy Joey Facebook group to help me figure out how to correctly use it/position my little guy. After a week of using it daily, I am feeling much better about getting my little guy in the sling and positioned correctly. One of the things that I learned is that the baby should be close enough to kiss when positioned correctly (see below).
Comfy Joey Ring Slings come in both linen (what I have) and mesh (for pool/beach time!). The linen comes pretty crispy so I washed my sling a few times to help soften it up. Comfy Joey ring slings come in LOTS of beautiful colors. My sling is “Maui Sea Glass” in color. I am about 5 feet 6 inches tall and wear a size large top. I ordered the Medium size. Sizes extra small through 2XL are available. Both a small and large size would fit me as well – it just depends on the size of your child and how long you want your ‘tail’ to be. I am happy with the medium size. The tail will get shorter as my son grows, but it seems to be the perfect size for me.
Comfy Joey Ring Slings are made for use with babies and toddlers from 8 to 35 pounds. My daughter is 30 pounds and almost three-years-old and I could still easily and safely carry her in the Comfy Joey sling if I wanted to!

I absolutely loved wearing my youngest daughter! I didn’t have a carrier for my first two, unfortunately. I love how it allows you to be hands free while still having baby close to you. It definitely helped me get so much more done! Also, shopping was both easier and safer for her. I never had a ring sling, I had a soft structure carrier, but I always wanted one!

First off you look amazing with the new baby! I am a but past using a ling, but am glad to see them making a come back. You can stay closer to baby and they seem more content. I like how this one would really adjust easily. It is also an attractive yet simple style.

I loved wearing my babies! I didn’t do it much with my first. But I did more with my second and third babies. This sling looks super comfortable. I like the muted minty color too.
