Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year! While the weather is less than ideal in Minnesota, it can be pretty as we head into the holidays to have a bit of snow on the ground. Just last week we had our first coating of “the white stuff” and honestly it got me in the mood to decorate! Sure, we still have Thanksgiving coming up, but if I’m going to go through the work of decorating for Christmas I’m going to enjoy it for awhile! This upcoming week I have plans to bring out the Christmas tree, holiday village, and our brand new Thomas Kinkade Wonderland Express Christmas Tree, too.

Thomas Kinkade Wonderland Express Christmas Tree

This gorgeous tree is from The Bradford Exchange, one of my favorite places to shop for unique gifts. They have a large variety of Exclusive Thomas Kinkade Gifts which are perfect for the holidays! I’m so excited about having this Christmas Tree as our centerpiece for the next couple of months. This beautiful piece is handcrafted after the artwork of the Painter of Light and is only available from The Bradford Exchange.

With twelve illuminated buildings, over two dozen handcrafted figures (all painted by hand!), and a blanket of glittery snow, this centerpiece will be the talk of your holiday parties! When I opened the box, I was absolutely stunned by the intricacy in the design throughout the Christmas Tree. The tiny handcrafted figures are so meticulously painted, it’s truly incredible. I can’t imagine how many hours of work must go into each piece.

There are three moving trains that travel in different directions around the tree. Our kids could sit and watch the trains go around for hours, though they do have a hard time with the “look with your eyes, not with your hands” rule. I can hardly blame them-I want to take in all the details, too! I love that each train travels on its own track-your eye is constantly drawn around the tree. Every time I look at it I see new people or buildings.

Santa and his reindeer also revolve around the tree, and if you want to talk about intricacy-WOW. These figures are so delicate and beautiful-they even have reins that run from Santa to all of his reindeer! In addition to that, the tree plays a medley of eight beloved Christmas carols. You can adjust the volume on the music, as well as choose to run the trains without the music if you prefer. The Wonderland Express Christmas Tree also has various illuminated features including some of the buildings.
