I was sent a Purple Simple cushion for this post. All opinions are my own.
I love practical gifts. For met here is something really special about getting a gift that you use regularly and that you really enjoy using in your daily life. It can be a sweet reminder of whoever you got the gift from, each time that item is used. I think it can also show that you really truly are thinking a lot about the individual if you think about what types of items might make their lives better.
Purple is a company that is well known for their mattresses, but they also make cushions. I was sent the Purple simply cushion to check out. It comes with a cover on it, but the cushion itself is purple. It was a great size match for the chairs we use at home. It measures 17.5 by 15.75 inches and is 2 inches thick. The outer cover is pretty plain, but the underside has grips to help it stay in place on a sooth seat. One end has a handle so you can carry it with you to work or from one vehicle to another.

The inner purple material reminds me of squishy toy balls that have a lot of holes in them, and make a squishy sound when squeezed. I think if used without the cover, the inner purple portion would attract a lot of dust, hair, etc as it has an almost sticky feeling to it. The purple portion has a grid-like shape and makes a squishy sound when squeezed. The mat doesn’t flatten much at all under my weight. It does a nice job of offering support while feeling comfortable.
I think the Purple Simply seat cushion would make a great gift for anyone with a job where they sit a lot. Anyone with a desk job, truck drivers or taxi drivers, people who travel regularly, or those with health conditions that cause them to sit a lot, or for those who have health conditions that make sitting painful.

This is definitely a practical gift, I can think of so many people (including myself) that would benefit from one of these! I actually have something similar in my Jeep because the seat is not very comfortable.
