Christmas is coming, are you ready!? I think we are finally all set. My husband and I just finished wrapping up the stocking stuffers for our kids a couple nights ago. So the gifts are wrapped, labeled, and stocked away. The stocking stuffers are wrapped and already stuffed into the kids’ stockings. Which means that the only thing left to do start planning our Christmas Day feast!
Christmas Plans
We don’t actually have a big celebration gathering on Christmas any more. Instead, we stay home now. As our kids got older, we really started dreading all the running. So now, we invite over the elderly neighbor and then I make a homemade chicken, dressing, potatoes, and biscuits meal. It’s actually one of my favorite traditions now!

I have our meal all planned out. But we have some furry family members too! (Side note, I just had to feature both of our “big dogs” at the beginning of my post even though the smaller one, Sammy just passed away this month. He has been my faithful sidekick for over 15 years now and we miss him terribly. He was my first “baby” after I had a miscarriage during our first pregnancy. So my husband got me Sammy to help cheer me up. And that he did as he seemed to know I just needed a companion. So he’s still featured at the top because I just wasn’t ready to not include him in my reviews quite yet.)

I love the idea of not running around for Christmas time. I never thought of our pup not having his own special dinner, will do this for this year for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
My dog loves lamb! It is the silliest thing, every time we feed him dog food with lamb in it, he goes bananas. I know he would enjoy is Chewy.com food.
