As many of you know, my baby boy has arrived. He’s already almost seven weeks old – where did that time go? The first weeks of his life were a whirlwind. He slept well during the day, but he seemed to have his days and nights mixed up – he was awake much of the night, only sleeping in very short spurts between being awake and or feeding.

I was extremely sleep deprived, and having my almost three year old daughter along with the new baby, taking a nap during the day was nearly impossible. My cousin had a DockATot for her new daughter and was liking it, so I reached out to DockATot to review their DELUXE+ dock for our little guy.

As you can see in the picture above, my little guy is loving our DockATot. He’s been using it for about two weeks now, and since the first night I put him in it, he immediately started sleeping four hours to start the night. He is getting older, so that can help with sleep too, but I feel the DockATot played a huge role in lengthening his sleeping time. The middle of the night has still been a little tricky for him. Between 1-5am or so he still feels the need to party with mom instead of sleeping, but when I put him down in his DockATot he settles quickly and seems comfortable and calm.

I’m loving that the DockATot is both portable and lightweight. I take it all over the house with me. The build in handles make it easy to transport anywhere I need it.

Speaking of taking it all over the house… above my little guy is watching over me as I work at the kitchen table. Below he’s supervising me as I do the laundry.

You will notice that the bottom of the DockATot DELUXE+ opens up so that when your little one gets longer, they have more room for their feet. Once they get too big width-wise (at about 8 months) you can upgrade to the DockATot Grand that is suitable for use from 9-36 months.
