Nadine West January Review

I was sent a Nadine West subscription in exchange for this review. There are affiliate links in this post. All opinions are my own.

Monthly Clothing subscriptions are a fun way to try out new outfits from the comfort of your own home. I love Nadine Westbecause they send affordable clothing. Many other monthly clothing subscription services send really expensive clothing which just isn’t within my budget. Most items from Nadine West range from about $15-$35 per piece. They will send you several items including clothing and accessories to try out each month (or every 2 weeks is an option you could choose insetad!). They send you a prepaid mailing label so that you can return any items that you don’t wish to keep. You’ll only be charged for the items that you don’t send back.

Plus, the clothes aren’t totally random. When you sign up for Nadine West you let them know which colors patterns or prints you like to wear, and other information pertaining to your personal fashion style. They try to send items that fit within the guidelines of your usual style. But again, if they miss the mark you can send them back and you won’t be charged.

This shipment included 10 items which was my largest shipment to date, I usually get more like 7 items per bag, and one month I only got 5. So it can vary, but I was excited to get a lot of items this month.

Nadine west reviews

My expression is kinda weird here, Ryan I  was being goofy while taking my picture and I was caught mid-laugh.

It’s awfully cold here in Michigan so I was excited to see a long sleeved pink top. It has thin white strips on it and is a really cozy material. They sent my typical size and it fits a big bit, I think it is meant to have a bit of a cozy, relaxed fit to it. I like how it’s soft, comfortable and feminine. Definitely a good choice for me. It is slightly transparent but in the winter I enjoy wearing camisoles for extra warmth anyway. This is $29.49 to keep.

The necklace this month isn’t quite my style but I am not sure I can specifically explain why. It just doesn’t quite feel like me somehow. It is $29.99 to keep.

Nadine west bracelet review

I like the bracelet that was sent this month. It’s pretty and yet really unique, almost an industrial type of feel to it? It seems a bit big, when I move my arms around it falls almost to my elbow but I find that to be true of most bangles. I think I may have smaller wrists than average. This bracelet is just $12.19 to keep.

Nadine west bodycon dress review

Again, silly expression caused my by “photographer” being goofy!

I never really can make up my mind when it comes to bodycon dresses. I really like the color of this one and it’s a thick ribbed material that is great for colder weather and here in the midwest we have plenty of cold. I think it looks okay, I just find the fit to be a bit vulnerable feeling, I guess. I don’t find myself in many situations here I would find a bodycon dress to be a good match for where I was going. So this wouldn’t’ be a keeper for me, more based on a lack of need than the style itself. On the model it ends above the knee but it ends about mid-calf for me, though I am only 5’1″. I think it looked okay despite ending lower on my body. It is $26.99 to keep.

The earrings this month were a winner. I had purchased really similar earrings to these but in silver-tone on my own last summer. Having a really similar pair in gold makes me happy. I think they would fit with almost any outfit because they are simple yet classy. They are $12.99 to keep.

Nadine west feminine hoodie

This hoodie is my favorite item this month. It is slightly fuzzy, a nice midweight, so cozy and warm. I love the comfort of hoodies but most hoodies fit me in a baggy, boxy kinda way that I find unflattering on my body. This is a slimmer fit that helps me keep my natural body shape while staying warm. I also like how the colors and flowers are feminine as it’s a bit rare to find feminine looking clothing with hoods. The only downside of this top is it is a bit short. If I raise my arms over my head my belly and lower back show. However, I almost always wear a camisole in the winter anyway so that keeps me from exposing my skin if I raise my arms in this. This is $20.99 to keep.

nadine west accessories

Through different seasons, Nadine West sometimes includes accessories. For example, over the summer I got sunglasses, last winter I got a winter hat once. So I was excited to see a totally new (to me) item – legwarmers! These are pretty basic, just black and they have a cable knit type design to them. I’ve never worn legwarmers and I don’t know that they are my style, but it was fun to try something new. These are $15.99 to keep.

Nadine West young women's clothing

This top was sent to me in my typical size, the same size as the hoodie and pink top up above, yet it feels pretty long. Maybe it’s just supposed to have a tunic-type fit? It’s at hin but soft and comfortable material. I don’t wear much blue and I don’t care for the color-blocking style of this top. It’s not a keeper for me personally. It is $29.19 to keep.

The leggings in that photo are also from Nadine West. I realize you can’t see them in great detail but they don’t really have observable details worth noting. They are all-black leggings that are thin but stretchy and comfortable. They are very soft on the outside and are slightly suede-like I think. If I run my fingers down them you can see the tracks where my fingers ran until you rub them the reverse direction. I love comfortable leggings so they were a ‘win’ for me. They are $24.49 to keep.

Working from home, I don’t find much need in my life for pencil skirts. I like dresses and skirts for casual wear but that’s about it. I’ve received a fair amount of more formal clothing from Nadine West the last few shipments so on my profile review this month I made a note asking to scale that back. I think this skirt is alright, it does highlight my belly more than I would like but I think anything high-waisted would do the same. I just don’t need skirts like this which is the main reason why it wasn’t a good match for me. It is $17.49 to keep.

Overall this was a nice Nadine West shipment for me. I LOVE the hoodie and really like the leggings, pink top and earrings. The bracelet is also a keeper for me.

I’d love to hear what your favorite item was this month!
