I received product from Casio to facilitate this post. All opinions, as always, are my own.
Music is so important. Studies have shown the benefits of music reach far in wide, in a variety of situations. It’s encouraged to play music to babies in utero. And calming music for an infant or child can help keep emotions on track. Not to mention, I’ve even read studies about how playing piano is great for brain development. And even adults can benefit from music.
So in conjunction with March being ‘Music in our school month’, I partnered with Casio to bring a little music your way.
Celebrate Music In Our Schools Month {With Casio}
It’s easier than ever to incorporate music into the lives of our children these days. Thankfully, instruments in America can be easily found. And one brand that is very popular in our home as well as in many schools is Casio.
Casio
Casio’s corporate creed is simply put: “creativity and contribution”. And their ongoing commitment to contributing to our society through their offerings of original and useful products has brought their name to the forefront. Not to mention, the joy they bring through their electronic musical instruments is monumental.
Casio Keyboards
The very first keyboard in our home, not to mention every one since, has been a Casio. I love knowing the brand we trust is also trusted by many others. Their products are high quality and have delivered what they claim every time.

Incorporate Music Into Your Homes Too
We’ve been striving to bring music into our home every since our first child. At the beginning, we accomplished that by playing cd’s for her. At the age of 3 1/2 or 4, our first child began piano lessons. She utilized her Casio keyboard for practice through the years as well as for performing concerts at the local nursing home. Then, as our children grew, we introduced guitar and violin as well. While our two youngest kids haven’t yet started an official instrument, you can often find them sitting at our Casio Piano tapping away.
So tell me, how do you bring music into your life?

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I love music, I can’t play that great, but love to play for myself. Music is so relaxing.
