My husband owns a few firearms. He keeps all of his firearms securely stored in a large gun safe inside our home.
Recently he was gifted a handgun. Soon after receiving it, he mentioned to me that someday he would like to get a biometric handgun vault. This would enable him to keep the handgun locked safely in our bedroom so that it was close by if he/we needed it for protection.
I decided to surprise my husband with a biometric handgun vault for his birthday. I did my research and found what I was looking for at Liberty Safe. Liberty Safe specializes in safe and security products. They had a few different biometric handgun vaults available for me to chose from. I got him the HDX-250 Smart Vault.
Liberty Safe Biometric Smart Vaults were designed for reliability, security, and affordability. They feature heavy duty 14 gauge steel, anti-pry technology, and a reinforced latch system. The Biometric Smart Vaults are compact in size making them perfect for nightstands, drawers, and closet shelves. Biometric Smart Vaults have mounting holes on the bottom of the box for direct mounting.
Accessing the Biometric Smart Vault is quick and easy. Just a swipe of your finger will open it in one second when you utilize the AC adapter (included with purchase) and two seconds with the 9v battery (also included.) The Biometric Smart Vaults can store up to fifteen different fingerprints in memory storage. After swiping your finger, the Biometric Smart Vault will automatically open its door. Liberty Safe’s Biometric Smart Vaults also include a key for an added layer of security.
In addition to my husband’s HDX-250, I got myself an HDX-350 Smart Vault to store my important papers, photo CDs, jewelry, and stuff like that. Prior to having my HDX-350 Smart Vault, I kept all of my stuff in my husband’s large gun safe. He teased me about taking it over. Now that I have the HDX-350 Smart Vault, I can keep my stuff in my own safe.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. I would love a safe like this! I like that it can only open with a fingerprint swipe. My husband keeps his guns in a locked gun safe. We also have a small safe for important papers.
