Thank you to Wink Frozen Desserts for providing me with products to facilitate my blog review. All opinions are 100% my own.
When I decided to follow the ketogenic diet, I was worried that I would never again get to have a sweet treat. I understood that was a sacrifice to make in getting healthy, but it wasn’t one I was looking forward to making.
While searching for keto recipes, I stumbled upon Wink Frozen Desserts. Wink Frozen Desserts has a Low-Calorie Ice Cream Alternative that is made with clean ingredients and has a plant-based recipe. Wink Frozen Desserts Low-Calorie Ice Cream Alternative is free of gluten, dairy, soy, egg, peanut, and tree nut. It is keto approved and kosher. Wink Frozen Desserts Low-Calorie Ice Cream Alternative is Non-GMO Verified.
Wink Frozen Desserts Low-Calorie Ice Cream Alternative comes in pint-sized cartons. Each pint has 100 calories. There are twelve flavors to choose from- Vanilla Bean, Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte, Cake Batter, Cocoa Dough, Cinnamon Bun, Strawberry, Salted Caramel, S’mores, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Chocomint.
I really wasn’t sure what to expect with a sugar-free and dairy-free ice cream. I was pleasantly surprised when I had my first bite. Wink Frozen Desserts Low-Calorie Ice Cream Alternative has a nice lite flavor. No, they aren’t rich and creamy like traditional ice cream, they are more like a sorbet. They are full of flavor and have a nice subtle sweetness to them.
I haven’t made my way through all twelve flavors yet. I have tried the Cake Batter, Salted Caramel, S’mores, and Strawberry Cheesecake. Of those four, my favorite was the cake batter.
I am so happy to have found a sweet treat that can easily be incorporated into my ketogenic diet.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I would eat that as long as I tell myself that it’s sorbet, not ice cream.
