I received product from The Grommet to facilitate this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
You know the old saying ‘bigger is better’? Well, while this may not always be true, it sure is sometimes definitely is. Especially when it comes to some games. And today, I wanted to introduce you to a variety of options I found over at The Grommet.
Classic Wooden Games With A Twist
It’s never been easier to get outside and get playing than with three giant yard games and one fresh and fun take on a traditional Scandinavian favorite. Yard Games Maker and civil engineer Kevin Muellerleile will get you playing with the oversized Tumbling Timbers, roll with Giant Yard Dice, make a connection with 4 Connect in a Row, or try something new with standard-sized Kubb, where the objective is to topple an opponent’s blocks. Any game you go with, there’s plenty of fun to be had.
Why We Love Giant Wooden Games
There are several reasons I love these giant versions. For one, they are perfect for both indoor AND outdoor use! The larger size makes them especially appealing for events such as parties, BBQs, tailgating, group events, camping and more.
The Grommet ~ Giant 4 Connect In A Row
The Giant 4 Connect-In-A-Row game comes complete with:
- Giant 31″ x 23″ Wooden Board
- Finished Legs
- Finished Frame
- 21 Red & 21 Blue 3″ Diameter Plastic Coins
- Nylon Carrying Case
So you’ll have everything needed. And assembly takes seconds so you can be playing in no time.
And when the game is over, it’s easy to play again! To release the coins, just lift and slide the bottom bar and they will all drop out below.
Since our Giant 4 Connect-In-A-Row game has arrived, it’s been played with daily. Actually, multiple times a day! The kids just can’t get enough. Right now, it’s been pretty chilly in Minnesota so this has been a great time passer. The whole family is loving it!
