I was sent a Buddha Board from Buddha Board. All opinions are my own.
Buddha Board is a company set out to make mindfulness easy and doable even on the go. Whether you are at home and using the larger more stylistic decor centered Buddha Board or on the go in a train station using the handheld travel size board, be rest assured that you are able to stay in the moment.
A buddha board is a great gift for little hands that love to color or paint but aren’t yet ready for the mess that sometimes comes along with such activities. With a simple water tray to dip the included brush tip pen into, there will be no mess, no ink, no chemicals, only creation at the tips of your little ones fingers. My favorite part about the Buddha Board is the reusability of it. Water on the brush creates a dark ink like image and within minutes the image begins to fade leaving you with the perfect canvas all over again to create over and over!
Adults will also love the Buddha Board as you sit in calm and focus on the way the brush strokes feel, the image you are creating and the ever amazing reminder that just like everything else in life, nothing lasts forever so cherishing the very moment is important. Buddha Board offers three different sizes of their boards.
The Original Buddha Board which is perfect for home or office decor, as it comes with a small elegant black display stand that holds not only the board but also the artfully designed brush.
The Enso Board, which is great for a compact space as the board becomes a stand itself and completely packs away into a slim and sleek choice that can easily store within a backpack. With dimensions of 12” x 9.5” x 1/4” you won’t be limited to the size of picture you can create.
The last and most useful in my opinion is the Mini Buddha Board. This is a smaller more compact version of the Enso and I think it would be perfect for quick paintings without sacrificing quality in any way. the Mini Board is perfect for having something small and compact in the car, in a waiting room, or even on a plane. The dimensions of this board are 5” x 5” x 1/2” so super easy to carry in a purse or small carry on. I cant wait for my daughter to have this in her car seat area to start and keep her creativity going on the longer car rides.
As you can see Buddha Board is doing everything possible to help keep you in the moment and mindful no matter where you are. I truly love painting but using this board will be great for not holding onto the outcome of the end picture, an excuse to create just to create in that moment.
I am a stay at home mother of two, who loves to create in every form, from cooking, to henna, to painting or sculpting, creating with my hands is my passion! I love to dance and let loose when the music flows right. Being outside is a special kind of therapy I think humans need more of as well as mindfulness! I love all things new and adventurous and am always looking to experience more of life 🙂

My daughter has mentioned wanting a Buddha Board before. It seems like such a neat product! It would be a fantastic gift for her!

I have seen the Buddha Boards. They are great little time killer for kids. It reminds me of the Etch A Sketch. Something fun that can be done over and over again.

This is so much better than the Etch a Sketch I had as a kid. I do like the mini board the most as it definitely would help in waiting rooms and grocery lines.

I have seen these and thought they would make a great gift. I like the fact that they are so transportable and easy to use. My very artistic granddaughter could draw so many sketches.

The Buddha Board is so cool, I can definitely see why it would be relaxing! I think I would enjoy writing on this as much as my kids.

This is an interesting concept in artistic expression. It does seem like a relaxing activity.
I was not familiar with Buddha Board. However, I like how you “paint” with water and the design lasts for years with proper care.
