I absolutely love National Geographic Kids books. When I have the opportunity to review them, I jump! I recently received three new titles for National Geographic Kids- We Love Babies!, Turn It Up!: A pitch-perfect history of music that rocked the world, and 1,000 Facts About Dinosaurs, Fossils, and Prehistoric Life.
We Love Babies! is an adorable book full of precious baby animals. It combines National Geographic’s cute baby photos with Jill Elbaum’s playful rhyming text. We Love Babies! celebrates diversity, showing us that we are all unique and special. At the end of the book, you get to meet the babies and are given their special baby names. Did you know a baby Lop-Eared Rabbit is called a Kit?
Turn It Up!: A pitch-perfect history of music that rocked the world is perfect for kids who love music. Turn It Up! takes a close look at the biggest moments in music’s history, in all major music genres. Readers will learn about the evolution of music, musical instrument sounds, and different musical styles. Turn It Up! also gives kids song recommendations to go along with what they are learning about.
1000 Facts About Dinosaurs, Fossils, and Prehistoric Life contains fascinating information and engaging photos. Have you ever wondered what dinosaurs really looked like? How they lived? What evidence did they leave behind? What takes place on a dinosaur dig? All of these questions and more will be answered with the 1000 Facts About Dinosaurs, Fossils, and Prehistoric Life book.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I just added a children’s literacy station in my laundromat. The kids are loving the books and so are the parents. Would love to add some of the National Geographic books to the book selection.
