Thank you to HeadStart International for sending Resoftables for review in exchange for my honest opinion.
My daughter has an affinity for animals – all animals, big and small, real and stuffed. She began showing her love for “critters” as she calls them when she was about my son’s age. About a year ago we got her a ‘pet net’ (a mesh net hung from the walls in the corner of her room) where her critters can be corralled. That pet net is overflowing, but there is still no toy that makes her more happy than a new stuffed critter. She names them, and she plays with them – all of them. Sure she will play with dollies and other toys, but the one ones she goes back to play with over and over again are her stuffed friends.
Since we have been under a ‘stay at home order’ from the governor since mid-March, the kids have missed out on a lot of normal outings and activities. When I was introduced to Resoftables a few weeks ago, I knew right away that my children would love them! I looked forward to our box arriving and the kids each pulling out their own new stuffed friend. Resoftables are adorable, high-quality soft plush animals that are made of 100% recycled plastic bottles!
“Every year the world produces over 275 million tons of plastic waste. That’s the same weight as 55 million
elephants. Now more than ever, it’s important to recycle plastic and use recycled plastics where possible”.
Resoftables are produced with the goal of eliminating household waste that impacts the environmental health of the plant. Headstart introduces its first cost effective, sustainable plush for today’s eco-friendly family. Each 14 inch plush will reuse approximately elven plastic water bottles and is super soft.
The five critter assortment includes a bunny, unicorn, polar bear, koala and teddy bear. MSRP $12.99-$14.99.

Hi, my name is Asha. I am 34-years-old and am a nurse by profession. Right now I am battling Breast Cancer. My husband and I have been married for 8 years and together we have a sweet seven-year-old daughter, a fun four-year-old son, and a lovable bunny named Caramel. I enjoy spending time with family, taking photographs, scrapbooking, hunting, fishing, cooking and gardening.

This is a good thing because children always need more stuffed animals. My great niece is 3 and she has stuffed animals at all of the homes she spends the day with. My house there is a big teddy and a couple of small bears. Sometimes she will not touch or look at any of them. The next visit she picks one out and plays with it and takes a nap with it.
