Are you still under stay at home orders in your state? Here in Minnesota, things are beginning to loosen up (a little). While we can go out now, most activities are still limited. Every single fun thing we had planned for summer 2020 has been canceled. So that means: no family summer camp, no kids camp, no parades, no small town celebrations, no baseball games, as well as other events and activities that are no longer an option. Right now, we still aren’t even allowed to eat inside restaurants! All this adds up to mean that we have to find new things to keep us occupied this summer. So I’m sharing some fun ideas you can enjoy from home with your kids.
Crafts and DIY Fun – While At Home
With so many of us turning to crafts as a fun distraction while under stay at home orders, I’ve decided to put share this cool selection featuring four of the most popular craft products available. They’re all easy, fun for the whole family, and especially timely! Great options during lockdown or anytime really!
CHALK OF THE TOWN T-SHIRT KIT — Dream it, draw it, wear it! These fun chalk t-shirt kits are erasable, re-usable, and machine washable which means you can enjoy again and again. They allow kids (and adults!) to create and wear their own specially designed t-shirts. My grandkids have had all of their camps and activities cancelled so these would be fun projects to send them to stay occupied. My grandson loves dinosaurs so the egg decorator would be great for him.
