Thank you to GHP Group for providing me with products to facilitate my blog review. All opinions are 100% my own.
Our family lives in a farmhouse that has multiple heat sources. In our main living areas, we have two wood-burning fireplaces. We almost always have at least one fire going during the cold fall and winter months. Even if we’re not keeping a fire going all day long, there is nothing better than a warm crackling fire to set the right mood, take the chill off, or make “family game/movie night” that much cozier.
Both of our wood-burning fireplaces are in need of cosmetic makeovers. Eventually, I want to have custom mantles built and am thinking about doing a treatment on the bricks. All of that is going to take a while to do though. In the meantime, I decided to freshen the look of our living room fireplace with new accessories.
When looking for fireplace accessories, we wanted something functional as well as beautiful or eye-catching. The living room fireplace is a focal point in that area of our home. It is on the wall that joins our living room, kitchen, and dining room.
The products at GHP Group were perfect for our needs. The Pleasant Hearth Fortna Fireplace Screen is a tall 3-panel screen. Having a 3-panel screen is ideal for us since we have pets and this design makes the screen more stable and less likely to get knocked over when one of our 4-legged family members is racing around or they’re playing a game of tag. The powder coating applied to the screen makes the beauty of it longer lasting. This screen helps prevent fly-away sparks which is another ideal functional feature. The dimensions of this screen are 50-inches wide (long) by 32 inches tall.
The Pleasant Hearth – Harper Log Holder with Toolset looks amazing alongside the Fortna Fireplace Screen as they are both Antique Black and constructed from heavy-duty steel. In addition to the log holder, this set includes a shovel, poker, tongs, and brush. The log holder is 15 inches long by 13.75 inches wide and 30.75 inches tall. It comes with some assembly required. Putting it together was easy to and only took about 5 minutes to do it.
I am pleased with both the items we got from GHP Group. Now I have my eyes on the Pleasant Hearth – Classic Fireplace Screen, Pleasant Hearth – Classic 4 PC Toolset, and Log Bin for the fireplace in our game room.
Have you heard about gas logs with blower? They use natural gas but have a ‘real fire’ look!

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I love the look. It is rustic yet warm. It really makes the fireplace feel like those from yesteryear and love the styling

These items would be so lovely to have for our fireplace. The log holder would be so useful.
Love the whole set but in particular the log holder. We have a wood burner (small) and where to put the wood is always a pain! I currently have ours ready to go in a tote.
