Thanks to TREND enterprises, Inc for sending me these fun games! As always, all opinions are my own.

With Halloween right around the corner and gifting holidays following soon after, I’m always looking for fun games to add to our kids’ collection. Our four year old son is SO into family games right now and his seven year old sister enjoys them too. I recently heard about TREND enterprises new line-up of games and I think they’d be super fun for Halloween or as stocking stuffers this year! These totally unique card games all utilize triangle-shaped game cards and are fun for all ages – even adults.

trend games GEMZ

I don’t know about your kids but mine’s attention spans can wane pretty quickly, so fast family games are the way to go. Gemz, one of TREND enterprises’ new games, lasts about 15-30 minutes which is perfect. Get ready for gem-collecting, bling-building fun with this brightly colored game! Draw, swap, and switch out cards to watch your gem take shape. Uncover all of one color to build a jewel of gemz. Watch out for action cards that speed up or slow down progress. Be first to gather six Gemz Cards of the same color to win!

encownter

TREND enterprises/ enCOWnter is my personal favorite of these card games! Leave your opponents in the cosmic dust by quickly capturing earthly things to complete a mission first.

encownter
Avoid Martian Mayhem and carefully choose which cards to keep and which to send into orbit. Every turn leaves a chance for drawing mission-changing cards that cause cosmic chaos! This game is for ages six and up, but even our four year old loves to play it.

squatch out

sqWATCH Out! is another three corner card game that introduces Bigfoot and his evasive appearances to a new generation. Bigfoot has left his footprint on the world but has yet to be captured…it’s up to you to trek deep into woods in search of proof. Will it take risks or playing it safe to out-hike your opponents? Make your move any way: go as deep as you dare, fool fellow hikers out of the woods, and let your instincts take over. There’s mystery in every round…will Bigfoot evade capture or will he be FOUND?

gnomes vs trolls

Gnomes vs. Trolls is definitely my son’s favorite game right now. Tricky trolls are lurking, turning up when they’re least expected. Flip a card to find your fate: a gnome, treasure, or a TROLL! Nine thieving trolls surprise unsuspecting gnomes, take their treasure, and put an end to their gathering games. It’s up to players to surround their treasure cards with gnomes to protect it, but remember, when the 9th troll card turns up, time’s up! The bright game cards have so many fun details, we could spend time just enjoying the illustrations, and we often do when not mid-gameplay.

lava lizards

Lava Lizards spend their days lounging on hot lava rocks, unknowingly surrounded by active volcanoes that may explode any second. Use lizard luck to outmatch opponents and outrun the blast…fast! Luck-of-the-draw gives all ages chances to win, but be careful not to get caught lounging!

on track game

On Track is our daughter’s favorite game because it requires a bit more strategy and concentration. In this game, references to historical engines and terminals are exciting for enthusiasts and novices. The card game is a race across a scenic landscape where players use strategy and planning to connect track cards from engine to terminal.

on track

Each player builds across a different geographic region: plains, deserts, coastlines, and mountains. Experience a little silliness when you find a cow on the tracks! This game holds lots of fun and strategy for all ages.

These games are all so fun and at just $9.99 each they’re affordable, too! They’d make great gifts and are also perfect for travel, sleepovers, grandparent’s houses, and more.
