I love sipping on a hot drink in front of a crackling fire when the weather is cold and yucky outside! Unfortunately, a lot of the popular hot drink recipes contain ingredients that we chose to not use. So, as the weather began to transition from summer to fall, I was determined to come up with a list of hot drink recipes that were keto-friendly, sugar-free, gluten-free, and low-carb. I hope you enjoy what I came up with!
Hot Chocolate–
1 1/2 cup unsweetened original almond milk
1-2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp monk fruit (may need more depending on your taste)
*Blend all ingredients well in a saucepan on medium heat.
Pumpkin Spice Latte–
1/2 cup unsweetened original almond milk
1 tbsp organic pumpkin puree
2 tsp monk fruit (may need more depending on your taste)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 cup brewed hot coffee
*Blend all ingredients well in a saucepan on medium heat.
Gingerbread Latte–
1/2 cup unsweetened original almond milk
2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
2 tsp monk fruit (may need more depending on your taste)
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup brewed hot coffee
*Blend all ingredients well in a saucepan on medium heat.
Peppermint Mocha–
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tsp monk fruit (may need more depending on your taste)
1 brewed hot coffee
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp peppermint extract
*Blend all ingredients well in a saucepan on medium heat.
Salted Caramel Mocha–
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tsp sugar-free Caramel coffee syrup (may need more depending on your taste)
1 brewed hot coffee
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
Dash of Himalayan salt
*Blend all ingredients well in a saucepan on medium heat.
In all of these recipes, you could swap out the unsweetened original almond milk for cashew milk, or even coconut milk. You can also use coconut cream in place of the heavy whipping cream. These recipes are wonderful as is or you can add your own special ingredients to jazz them up. I hope you enjoy them!
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

The salted caramel mocha sounds yummy! Not today though, it’s going to be 78 degrees. This recipe will have to wait for cooler temps.

We hit 85 degrees today so I’ll wait for the real fall to come by before I make these.

These recipes all sound so amazing. My first choice out of the bunch would be Peppermint Mocha.

I have never tried monk fruit. I learned that it helps with sore throats so that’s another bonus of adding it to warm drinks. My husband loves the smell of coffee but not the taste. I will try some of the mocha recipes and see what he thinks. I’m sure I’ll enjoy them.

I am more of a iced latte girl. I wondering if I can incorporate them into an iced drink. I have to say I never tried a Keto drink before.
