I love inviting family and friends into our home. While the gatherings have slowed down in 2020 with the virus, lockdowns, and regulations, I’m hoping 2021 will bring some normalcy back. Because I love hosting people, though, my kitchen, dining room, and pantry are some of the most important rooms in the house. It’s where we prep and cook snacks and meals for our guests and then gather in the dining room to enjoy. Over the years, I’ve turned to John Boos time and time again to help make my home the best it can be. They offer top-of-the line items that are absolutely gorgeous in any space.
John Boos Island Cart
You may remember in early 2019, I revealed our new walk in butler pantry. Well, front and center in that space you can often times find my John Boos Island Cart! For holidays and parties, I will roll this cart into the kitchen or dining room to hold drinks, desserts, and more. It was also the perfect serving space during a Murder Mystery Night we held this past summer.

Now as I mentioned above, you truly can’t go wrong with any piece you purchase from John Boos. They truly are the best of the best. With that said, we are LOVING our new set.
This table is absolutely gorgeous. The simple slab looks so elegant on the base. I love the wood species and style we chose as well.
We really like the overall design of the table but especially appreciate the base slab underneath as it’s perfect for resting your feet on as you sit.
The stools are also amazing and super comfortable. They offer 360 degree swiveling which is a nice feature. There is also a rim to rest feet on towards the bottom of the stool too.
One thing to note is that both the table and stools are quite heavy! I love how solid they are as they won’t be able to get pushed over or tipped. They are definitely fine pieces of furniture that will last a very long time!
