Do your kids have a current favorite movie obsession? This year we’ve cycled through a couple, but the past few months it’s been Frozen II, and I’m not complaining! I absolutely LOVED the first Frozen movie, and when the second came out I fell even more in love with the characters and especially the soundtrack! This year I thought it would be so fun to get our kids a Disney’s Frozen Train from our favorite train brand, Lionel.
You might remember that we got a Lionel Harry Potter Train for around our Christmas tree last year. While we haven’t had a chance to put our tree up yet this year, we will definitely be putting that train around it again! I also thought it would be fun for our kids to have a train to use throughout the year and the Frozen Ready-to-Play Remote Control Train is the perfect option.
This train set comes with 24 curved and 8 straight plastic train track pieces; they’re easy enough for kids to put together but are still heavy duty enough to withstand lots of play. Along with the tracks, you get a battery-powered locomotive, two additional train cars featuring Frozen characters, and a flatcar with everyone’s favorites: Sven and Olaf!
Our kids are obsessed with the flatcar because Sven looks like he’s fallen on slippery ice and Olaf actually spins as the train moves!
With the included remote control, you can send the train forwards or backwards and change the speed easily with the dial. You can also use the remote to sound the whistle or ring the realistic sounding train bell. Plus, you can hear real quotes from Olaf which is probably our favorite part! This train is absolutely adorable and our kids have been playing with it non-stop. We recently re-did our living room flooring and that’s become the site of all kinds of fun train track configurations!
