Three Peaks is a premium UMF certified Manuka Honey from the central plateau of New Zealand. They have over 14,000 hives and have a completely transparent supply chain as they go straight from the beehives to their extracting facility and then to a jar. What makes Manuka Honey so special?
Manuka Honey contains over 200 compounds not found in other honeys. The UMF rating on each pack represents the proportion of unique signature compounds characterizing Manuka Honey that are present in each batch- In particular the medicinal trilogy of Leptosperin, dihydroxyacetone (DHA) and Methylglyoxal (MGO) help make up the UMF rating and the higher the UMF rating the higher concentration of the all the good stuff and is often even medical grade.
