Over the last few years I’ve grown to be a coffee lover, and I think I can credit that to my kids! Even when I get too few hours of sleep at night, my day can be turned around with a good cup of coffee in the morning. While I like hot coffee, I’ve recently started to prefer cold brew both at the coffee shop and at home. This Christmas, I’m gifting myself a Vinci Express Cold Brew to make mornings even more convenient and delicious!
If you know about cold brew, you probably expect it to take 18-24 hours to prepare. However, the Vinci Express holds up to its name, taking just five to fifteen minutes to brew depending how strong you like your coffee. I like mine about medium strength which takes just ten minutes in the morning – that’s the perfect amount of time for me to put in my contacts, throw my hair in a ponytail, and come back out to drink my coffee and get ready for homeschooling.
To make this cold brew, you just fill the carafe with room-temperature water, add medium to coarse ground coffee to the filter, select your brew strength, and enjoy deliciously, fully brewed cold brew coffee in minutes. The carafe itself is very compact which is great because I don’t have a lot of counter space to work with. Plus, it has a built-in cleaning function that flushes all the residual coffee from the unit, and cleans and drains the brew path with clean, fresh water.
While I love to visit the coffee shop, it’s not very close to our house and with winter right around the corner (not to mention a global pandemic) I know I’ll be staying home making my own coffee for the next few months. This will make life so much easier!
