Caraway calls itself the ‘The Internet’s Favorite Cookware,’ and their pots and pans certainly have a large fan base. As stated on their website, the company is on a mission to raise the industry standards with well-designed, non-toxic cookware that allows for easy cooking and, most importantly, easy cleaning.

It’s certainly flashy, instantly recognizable for its beautiful color palette, but how does it perform? This is my review of a lovely seven-piece set I just got for under four hundred bucks. For the looks alone, the set is fantastic, but how does it handle? Here’s all you need to know.

Caraway Ceramic Cookware Set, all that’s included.

I just bought this awesome-looking ceramic set. It includes a 10.5-inch frying pan, a 3-quarter saucepan, a 4.5-quarter sauté pan and a massive 6.5-quart Dutch oven. It comes with three lids, too.

The handles made of shiny metal. I should mention these pots are made with non- stick coating with an aluminum core with surprisingly good heat distribution. I’ve used the pots in a gas stovetop, but you’ll be happy to know they also work on induction stoves.

These bad boys are pure metal — there’s no plastic, and that means they’re oven safe. Finally, Caraway is proud of selling 100% non-toxic cookware free of PTFE, whatever that is (just kidding, that means Teflon; I looked it up).

What I like the most is the high-quality and nice-looking ceramic coating, which is really nonstick. I’ve been cooking everything from fried eggs to steak with the frying pan, and I can honestly say stuff doesn’t stick.

Storage is Included!

I won’t say their cooking set is not enough to make this a great buy because it is, but the included magnetic pan rack and canvas lid holder are gorgeous! The storage solutions make you want to display your pots and pans instead of hiding them. I now have my set on the counter where everyone can see it.

The lids, by the way, are nice and flat, they’re the best-looking lids I’ve seen, and they’re obviously a perfect fit for the pots. And there’s more. I use the saucepan, the frying pan and the Dutch oven often. Still, I never thought the sauté pan would be so handy — you can stir-fry in it beautifully, and it lets you cook more significant amounts of food compared to the frying pan. The Dutch oven is suitable for stews and other slow-cooking projects.

The Bottom Line

Should you buy the Caraway ceramic cookware? Yes. It’s pretty, tough, non-stick, resistant and versatile. Plus, it comes in five available colors, all very nice. And the storage solutions, don’t forget about those! They’re deal closers.

If you cook often, this set will satisfy all your needs. Even if you don’t cook all that often, you’ll find in these pots a reliable solution for your every cooking need. I really wanted to make this review balanced between pros and cons, but after almost a month now cooking every day with the set, I still haven’t found a flaw. And for the price? This set is as good or better than many more expensive sets I’ve seen online.

I thought direct-to-consumer cookware was not all that great, and boy was I wrong!
