I was sent a subscription bag of clothing from Nadine West for this review. There are affiliate links in this post. All opinions are my own.
If you’re new, I’ll give you a quick overview of what Nadine West is all about.
Nadine West is a fashion subscription service for women. When you sign up you fill out a profile that takes your size information. You also fill out a style profile that aims to get an understanding of your personal style. It asks you questions like what colors you like to wear, what colors you refuse to wear, what types of jewelry you like (gold-toned, silver-toned, etc), whether you wear certain accessories (like scarves or sunglasses). You’re also able to set some price settings in your profile, such as requesting that you’re only send items that are $25 or less, or if you’re okay with being sent items that cost up to $45. That is as high as Nadine West goes, though! Which is a great benefit of Nadine West vs other clothing subscriptions, in my opinion. They focus on affordable clothing, while many other fashion subscription services only offer high end clothing.
From that style profile, a stylist will work to send you clothing and accessories in your size that they hope you’ll like. They’ll also send you a list of the prices for each item, and a return mailing label.
You’re able to try on everything at home, and after trying it on and checking out the prices, you get to decide which items you want to keep, and which ones you want to send back. You use the prepaid mailing label to return anything that you don’t wish to keep, and you won’t be charged for those items. You will be charged for the items that you keep, but the shipping fee (just shy of $10) will be take off the cost of your order, as long as you keep 1 or more items, the shipping basically ends up being free!
You can choose to get sent a bag monthly or bimonthly.
Once you get your first subscription and try everything on, you’re able to rate each item that you were sent from 1-5 stars, and there is a place to leave comments on each individual item, and on the shipment overall. This allows your stylist to learn more about your style over time. The notes area also makes it possible to make special requests for your next bag. For example, if you have a formal event coming up, you could request that your next bag has dressier clothing.
Let’s get into what I was sent this time. I got six items this time.
The top and bottoms here were both sent this month. The top is a tunic-length shirt but I am pretty short (5’1″) so it’s extra long on me. I think it’s okay, but it’s longer than I usually like in shirts and the color isn’t my favorite. I likely wouldn’t wear it very often so I’ve decided to pass on keeping it in my wardrobe. This top is $24.49 to keep.
The bottoms are just plain black leggings, elastic waist, no pockets or anything. The fabric is VERY thin, but I found that makes them very comfortable. I love some really basic leggings like this, they’re great for wearing around the house or sleeping in. They’re thin enough that I will likely wear them year-round inside my house here in Michigan. I’ll be getting lots of wear out of them. These are $13.49 to keep.
This necklace has two rings and then an inner pendant. The chain it comes on is rather short, but I like the overall look of this necklace. I really only remember to wear necklaces if I am going to a wedding or otherwise dressing up, which isn’t very often for me. I do really like this necklace, it makes me wish I was someone who was better about swapping out jewelry regularly, as I’d keep this if I would wear it, but realistically, I won’t. It is $19.99 to keep.
The top and bottoms here were both sent this month. I’m someone who wears lots of plain v-necks and scoop neck tops, and gray is one of my favorite colors to wear. So, I was quite excited to see this gray v-neck! The body of the shirt is a bit longer than most t-shirts but not long enough to bother me. I like how the sleeves are a bit longer than a typical neck t shirt. The fabric is thin, stretchy and soft so it’s really comfy, too. This shirt is a new favorite of mine! It is $31.49 to keep, which does feel pricey to me for a fairly basic shirt, but it’s very ‘me’ so I’ll get lots of wear out of it!
The bottoms are “jeggings”, the waist is just elastic/stretchy, and there isn’t a real zipper/fly (Though the design does have a mock zipper/fly area). It has real pockets in front and in back. I like how at a glance these look like regular jeans but they are a lot comfier! I’ll get plenty of wear out of these, too. I like this outfit together, too! The jeggings are $28.19 to keep.
Last but not least, I was sent these earrings. The earrings I’ve been wearing regularly lately are hard to get on and off, so I didn’t try these on. I could tell these weren’t really my style. I do like basic single-tone jewelry like this, but these are a big bigger than I usually like. I prefer to wear dainty or very subtle earrings most of the time. These are $23.99 to keep.
Overall this was a great shipment! I really love the v-neck, jeggings and leggings. It’s nice to have a favorite new outfit to wear!
Remember, you can sign up for Nadine West today. Fill out a style profile to let a stylist get an idea for your style, pay the shipping fee (just under $10) and they’ll send you a bag full of clothing and accessories to try on! If you keep at least 1 item, they’ll roll the shipping cost into the price of the item.
Or, if you see this between now and November 1st, you can use the code SPOOKY25 and you’ll get FREE shipping and $25 off your first box if you’re a new customer!

I like minimal designs in my jewelry so I like that necklace. The t shirt is exactly the kind of thing I buy. I hate tight clothing!

The necklace is very pretty. I also like the second outfit with the jeggings. Looks cute on you!

The jeggings look cute and I love the comfort of jeggings vs. jeans. The tunics look so wearable for home and going out

I like both tops. I still don’t understand the holey jean craze. I want pants that are all there.

I really like both outfits that you received! Like you I like comfortable clothes that still look nice. I prefer solids over patterns as well, so I would wear both tops.

I really love that necklace! It has a unique design. The v-neck shirt is cute too.
I always laugh reading your reviews of these clothes because I think you and I have the EXACT same sense of style and taste. Casual and comfortable, with an appreciation for nicer things, but enough contact with reality to know ‘I’ll never wear that!’. LOL I do really love the jeggings and V-neck outfit, too, and I have always loved gray. Nice score for this month!
