For the past two years my husband Tyler has been working overnights at a plant as a contracted commercial electrician. While working nights has some perks, we knew this would be a temporary thing when he started, and he’ll be switching back to days around mid-December. While he worked nights he didn’t need to bring a lunch (who wants to have a meal at midnight!?) so he had no need for a lunch box or cooler. However, now that he’ll be working in the field again, he’ll be taking a lunch and drinks with him each day. I decided to reach out to my favorite brand, Stanley, for some new products to gift him this Christmas.
The first product I chose for Tyler is the Stanley Adventure Series Lunch Cooler. This cooler is the perfect size for bringing a lunch to work but would also be great for hunting, golfing, or even a picnic for two! It keeps food and drink cold for 27 hours (!!), is leakproof, and is easy to carry. The lid features an adjustable bungee system to secure your favorite Stanley bottle, too!
Of course I had to get him a vacuum bottle to carry along with his cooler, and I went with the Classic Legendary Bottle in the limited edition Northern Lights pattern. Tyler was just talking about how he wished we could see the Northern Lights a few weeks back when they were visible to northern Minnesota, so I figured this bottle would be the next best thing! It’s really a beautiful design, and I kind of wish I had grabbed one for myself, too! The bottle’s stainless-steel construction and 1.5-qt size is made for work, camping trips, road trips, and wintery adventures. My husband goes to work with packed lunches and we use Stanley bottles for his drinks. He can leave his drinks in the van in 100 degree weather and still have a cold drink. He has saved so much money by not buying cold bottled drinks at gas stations.
