I received product from GoSports to facilitate this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
I’m from Minnesota so when we saw a few flurries last week, the kids got SUPER excited thinking the ‘big snow’ was on the way. Thankfully, what (barely) covered the ground that day was gone by evening. I’m just not quite ready to be driving through snowy roads yet! Once Thanksgiving is over and December hits, I’m a little more prepared for that fluffy white stuff.
When we finally do start getting snow that hangs around, the kids LOVE playing outdoors again. Right now, it’s just chilly and there’s not a lot to do out there. But snow makes the cold a bit more bearable and provides lots of fun options! You can:
- Build A Snowman
- Make Snow Angels
- Go Snowboarding
- Have A Snowball Fight
- Build A Snow Fort
- Make Little Snow Creations
- Go Skiing
- AND, my favorite Sledding!
GoSports Heavy Duty Snow Tubes – Get Ready To Go Sledding!
Sledding is one of my favorite winter snow activities because it’s something that almost all ages can enjoy. Little ones love to ride down a hill on mom or dads laps while older kids hit the hills on their own. Even adults can enjoy the fun of sledding! Last winter, we visited a local hill that provided lots of fun as well as a Ski Lodge where we went tubing down their ginormous hill for 2 hours straight.
One of the key features to having a great time sledding is a great tube or sled. Check out my GoSports Premium 2-Person Sled Feature from last month if your family loves sleds but keep reading here if you’re on the hunt for the best tubes.
GoSports 44″ Heavy Duty Winter Snow Tube with Premium Canvas Cover
If you’ve got younger kids, this Heavy Duty Winter Snow Tube is my favorite choice! The bottom layer is made from a durable and flexible polymer that is designed for optimal sliding down sledding hills and provides that extra protection for a younger child who may touch the ‘ground’ on the way down. Plus, the incorporated strap design makes it easy to pull a younger child as well as get your tube back to the top of the hill with less fuss.
Features Include:
- HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION: Reinforced tire tube enclosed by premium canvas cover with a coated bottom for the ultimate winter sled
- PREMIUM CANVAS COVER: Double stitched canvas cover with built in grip handles to fit adults up to 250 pounds
- COMFORTABLE RIDE: Features a short “no poke” inflation valve that works with any standard tire pump and is designed to stay out of your way for maximum comfort
- COATED BOTTOM: Smooth bottom panel lets you glide down sledding hills with ease and style
- HAND TOW STRAP INCLUDED: Pull the snow tube with ease for taking the tube back uphill or ferrying the kids around *hand pull only – never to be towed with vehicles*
- PATENT PENDING: A GoSports Original Product
Available in four color options, choose from: Red, Blue, Americana, or Retro. My kids want them all!

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

Tubes are the ONLY way to go sledding!! Especially durable ones like these!! No cracking or worrying about sinking into the snow!

This looks like so much fun!! I would love to take it sledding, but since it rarely snows here it would be used more in the water. I love that it has dual uses!

This looks like so much fun. The kids would have a blast with this.

This is a sure source of fun in the snow for kids. I like how extra durable it is.

We go to the mountains a few times a year to play in the snow. I think the winter snow tube with the premium cover would be perfect for our adventures. Durable and easy to transport.

Snow sledding is so much fun! I haven’t been able to do it in years, but it was definitely my favorite activity as a kid. We have a lot of family in Michigan so I spent a lot of Christmases there with snow. This tube is awesome, I love the super durable bottom! We never had anything this nice. I love how easy and portable it is as well.

This looks like fun but we have no snow here. I bet some children somewhere is using it to have fun.

I am very glad it does not snow here but I have some family in snow country that would love having this.

My daughter would have such a hard time choosing! After looking for a long time, she decided that she would pick the Sea Witch With Soft Crown. I love that these dresses are both comfortable and cute, so many dress up dresses are so itchy!
Last year was the first time my great niece got in sled riding. And she had a blast but she didn’t have the best stuff to ride on. this would be wonderful for her to have and it is also in the water. They go to the swiming hole and the creek runs for almost 1/2 mile.
