Pedipocket blanket

I was sent a PediPocket blanket in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.

PediPocket blanket review

I woke up too late to see it, but others in my town posted that we go the first snow real early this morning. Just a few flakes, nothing that stuck – but still, it’s officially cold weather season here in Michigan!

As a result, “cozy” or “warm” gifts are often really well received here by the time Christmas rolls around! Last year I reviewed a PediPocket blanket myself, and really liked it. I enjoyed how the blanket is generously long and how it has the foot pocket. This makes it really easy to cover your feet and your shoulders at the same time.

One end of each PediPocket blanket is connected with an extra ‘triangle’ like this, to make a ‘pocket’ for your feet!

My dad is someone who gets cold easily. He has a throw blanket that he puts over himself while sitting in his favorite recliner, ad I often see him struggling to keep it around his feet and his shoulders as it’s a bit too short. Plus, it is a fleece blanket that is several years old so it’s gotten a lot less soft, the way fleece does after tons of use. I thought it was time for an updated blanket, and I thought the PediPocket blaket would be perfect for him!

While I liked the overall design of the blanket I was sent last year, I wasn’t a huge fan of the texture of the blanket being sort of zig-zagged. I noticed that while may of the solid-color Pedipocket blankets have that zig-zag stitch pattern, some of the patterned blankets don’t have that design. With that in mind, I opted to get him the Pleasingly Plaid blanket. While this would make a great Christmas gift, I used it as his gift for his birthday which was about two weeks ago.

This PediPocket blanket is a plush fleece that feels extremely soft, far softer than typical fleece. It reminds me of a higher-end baby blanket, the way it feels. My dad was happy with his birthday gift, he said he loved how soft it was, and how the pocket would be perfect for keeping his feet warm! It is 50″ wide and 70″ long, making it about 10 inches longer than standard throw blankets. It’s machine washable and dryable so it’s easy to care for.

PediPocket offers a variety of different colors ad patterns in their adult-sized blakets. They also offer PediPocket blankets or kids which are smaller to better suit kids. They also come in kid-friendly prints.

Buy it: Purchase from PediPocketblanket.com. Right now they are running a pre-black-friday sale, which is buy one, get one 50% off! They also offer free shipping on orders over $75.

Oh wow, what a great idea. I could so use one of these my feet get so cold in the winter.

I would love to give this to my mom as a gift this Christmas. I like all the patterns they come in too.

A blanket with a pocket for your feet! I never thought I’d see this. Perfect for me – I have a lingering horror from a childrens story about “the thing under the bed that grabs your uncovered foot”. Please, don’t laugh! I can’t get to sleep without knowing my feet are covered!!

    • I can somewhat relate! I have a brother that is much older so he was grown when I was little. When staying over at his house as a kid, I woke up in the middle of the night because his cat was biting my toe! I don’t have cats myself so I don’t really worry about my feet being bitten, but for whatever reason it made me never sleep bare foot after that!
