We finally did it. Last March, after a couple years of the kids asking for a Nintendo Switch, we made the leap. It was actually my birthday and I couldn’t really think of anything I wanted or needed for myself so I suggested to my husband that we buy a Switch and surprise the kids. (I’m sure a lot of parents get the sentiment as it brings me so much joy to see my kiddos happy.) So that’s exactly what we did. I’ll start out by saying we don’t do a ton of screen time in our home but do allow it every Saturday morning and some weeks, maybe as a bonus throughout the week for 20 minutes once or twice. By keeping the play time a bit limited, the kids are more appreciative and grateful for their play time.

We just recently made the leap and got our kids a Nintendo Switch, too! They have been asking for one for years, and honestly, I am a Nintendo kid myself and was excited to get one as well. It was definitely a great investment, there are so many games for them to collect! This accessories bundle is really cool, it would make a great gift.
