I was sent a shipment from Nadine West. All opinions are my own. There are affiliate links in this post.

Nadine West is a fashion subscription service. When you sign up, you tell them what size you wear, and give them a variety of details about your style preferences. For example, you share what color(s) you do and don’t like to wear, what color(s) and types of jewelry you like, and what areas of your body you want to conceal, among other details. You also get to set your budget, you can request only items valued at under $25, or you can opt in to receive items valued $25, or a combination of both. The most expensive item I’ve ever been sent from Nadine West was around $46, which makes Nadine West far more affordable than most other clothing subscription companies. 

The each month a stylist will select 4+ items that they hope you’ll like, ad they send them to you in the mail. You just pay a $9.98 shipping fee initially. There is no stylist fee like other services have. Once the items arrive, you get to try them all on and decide what you’d like to keep. The shipment includes a prepaid mailing label that you use to ship back anything you don’t wish to keep and pay for. You’re only charged for the items that you keep, and as long as you keep at least one item, that shipping fee rolls into the cost of the item. 

Once you’ve tried on everything, you get to log into your Nadine West profile and leave feedback on everything you were sent. You can rate each item out of 5 stars, and you can leave written commentary on each item, too. That way over time, the company will learn more about your personal style. 

This time I was sent six items. 

These earrings are leaves with chains and then a pearl-like bead a the ends. They’re rather long and heavy, and they just really aren’t my style in general. I much prefer really dainty, subtle jewelry. These are $12.99 to keep.

This necklace is layered necklace so it almost feels like two in one. The top chain has a really shiny white-crystal horizontal pendant, while the lower chain has a black crystal vertical pendant. I think this is a really pretty necklace, and I like both pendants, yet somehow this just isn’t the type of necklace that I would wear. I like it, but for someone else? Haha. It is $25.99 to keep.

I put together an outfit with a top and bottom that was sent this month. Part of what I love about getting Nadine West shipments monthly is how they keep me supplied with new clothes on a regular basis. In particular, I love their jean-like leggings or jeggings that they often send. The jean-leggings they sent me this time are no exception. I love them! They look like jeans from a distance, have a little distressing, and real pockets in front and back, but they’re really elastic material like leggings. They’re even elastic around the waist, so they’re super comfy. These are $24.49 to keep. 

The top here is somewhat close to my style. I like this bright shade of pink, I like the v-neck top, I just don’t love the big ruffle sleeves. They’re a bit too attention grabbing for me. This top is $31.49 to keep.

I put the last two items together to make a second outfit. The bottoms here are high waised and have four buttons, two at either front hip. They strike me as a business slack, just more comfortable. The material feels a bit scratchy and cheap to me, but they just wouldn’t be right for me despite that. I work from home so I don’t really dress up except for weddings, funerals, etc and in those occasions I wear dresses. These slacks are $32.99 to keep. 

I was a bit undecided about whether I would add this shirt to my wardrobe, at first. I like the pale pink color, I like the fit fairly well, the v-neck line. I don’t love the material (it’s that kind that gets wrinkled incredibly easily) and I was also a bit unsure about the sleeves. The stripes make his top seem sort of like a jersey or something, and I’ve just never been into sports of any kind. So, because of the material and those stripes, I decided against this top. It was close, though! It is $19.49 to keep.

This shipment, I just found the one site that I really loved, and that was the jeggings. It’s rather rare for me to only decide to keep one item from a shipment. However, because the shipping cost rolls into any item that you keep, I don’t consider it a bad experience as long as I find one item that I want to keep. 

I’ll update feedback on this shipment and hopefully the next shipment will be a bit better suited to me.
