I was sent a clothing subscription bag from Nadine West for review. There are affiliate links in this post. All opinions are my own.

Nadine West is a clothing subscription service for women. You sign up and share your clothing sizes and style preferences. Then a stylist selects 4-6 items that they think you would like, and ships them to your house. You pay a shipping fee of just under $10, but you don’ pay for the clothing at this point.

After the clothing arrives you get to check out everything that you were sent and decide what you want to keep and what you don’t. A piece of paper in the package will share the prices of each of the pieces you were sent. You’ll also be sent a prepaid return mailing label, so you can send back any items you don’t wish to keep, without paying return shipping. If you keep 1 or more items, your ~$10 shipping fee will be rolled into the cost of that item. 

You’re only charged for the items that you choose to keep. You can go on your Nadine West profile and give rating and written feedback about the items you were sent. This info will help provide your stylist with additional information about what you do and don’t like to wear so they can hopefully send you even better items the next time. 

This shipment, I received six items. 

This top looks like a thermal type material as it has a texture to it, but it’s super soft, almost fuzzy! I would love a long sleeved shirt in this type of material. It feels a bit of a mismatch that it was used on a short-sleeve top in my opinion. I sort of like that they tried to add a neat detail to the backside, but it looks and feels a bit strange to me. I think my issue with the back is, it doesn’t look very intentional, it looks like it was missewn by mistake. This top is $33.99 to keep. 

The bottoms photographed above were also sent this shipment. These are tight fitting, firm black skinny jeans. The firmness is nice because it helps smooth out your body a bit, but they aren’t very comfortable to wear. I don’t wear black jeans much, so I won’t be keeping these. They are $37.99 which seems pricey to me, as they seem a bit thin. 

These earrings were sent. I think they’re pretty, but I tend to only wear really small pendent earrings. These are $20.99 to keep.

I was excited to get some “lazy pants” this shipment. These are soft cotton jogger-type pants that are just super comfy. They’re almost a bit big on me, I think a size smaller would have fit better…but they’re super comfy, so they’re a keeper for me. I won’t wear these out of the house, but I’ll wear them a ton at home. These are $33.99 which does seem a little pricy to me for lounge pants. 

The top shown here was also sent. It’s a basic black v-neck top but I’ll definitely get some wear out of it. It is $27.99 which seems like a lot for a plain black t-shirt. I have noticed that Nadine West prices have gone up recently. You do get to choose whether you wat to receive items over $25 or not…so I could opt to only receive items under $25 if I wanted. In the past though, it felt like when items were priced above $25 they were usually nicer or more elaborate pieces. More recently, it seems like they’re sending really basic items that just cost more. 

I was really excited when I saw something purple in the package. This shade of purple is my favorite color. Unfortunately, I was a bit bummed once I got it out of the package and realized it was really long! I don’t like wearing oversized tops or tunic-length shirts. I know they are meant as an intentional fashion, but I guess I can’t see past just seeing this as a shirt that doesn’t fit me. It is $33.99.

Overall, this was only an okay shipment for me. I liked the lounge pants (despite them being slightly big) and the black long sleeved top (despite it being overpriced in my opinion). The rest were all items that I chose to pass on. I’m really hoping that I’ll get some shorts this summer! It seems like Nadine West used to send me seasonal items, but I haven’t really seen that much yet this summer.
