Thank you to Eucalypso for sending bedding for review in exchange for my honest opinion.
I have been wanting new bedding for months. I had my ovaries removed last year due to my breast cancer, so I am in full menopause at 34 years old. This means I end up with hot flashes and night sweats. My old sheets just weren’t cutting it. When I was introduced to Eucalypso, I was intrigued. I wondered if these sheets would really make a difference. Were they really as good as they say they are?!
Eucalypso started from a desire to make ethical sustainable bedding. They spent years creating an innovative new type of fabric that is breathable, silky soft, and sustainable. Eucalypso’s fiber source is called TENCEL Lyocell. It has a unique manufacturing process that begins with wood harvested from sustainably grown forests in Austria. Eucalypso products are made in small batches to protect the environment and prevent environmental degradation. The manufacturing process begins with fibers produced from the pulp of sustainably sourced raw wood like eucalyptus. Considered to be one of the most sustainable fabrics and more eco-friendly than cotton, sheets made from TENCEL Lyocell fibers are legendary for their superior quality.
Eucalypso encourages you when shopping for “eucalyptus sheets” to be sure to look to see if they are made from TENCEL Lyocell, as that is a good indicator of high quality and durability.
Above is not a posed picture. That’s really my husband – sleeping like a baby – on our new Eucalypso sheets. We got the Classic Sheet Set for our queen size bed. We chose white but there are seven other beautiful colors to choose from if you are more adventurous than I am when choosing bedding colors!
Eucalypso sheets feel soft to the touch, like a cross between cotton and silk. Designed with a sateen weave, which gives it a silky texture and is very gentle on the skin. Even after repeated washings, Eucalypso bedding retains its softness. The bedding feels cool to the touch and stays that way all night long – perfect for summertime, warmer climates or for ladies like me who are dealing with night sweats and hot flashes. Overall my husband and I are both very pleased with our new Eucalypso bedding.
Aside from sheets sets, Eucalypso also carries duvet covers, comforters, sleep masks, crib sheets and more.
