Nadine West is a women’s clothing and accessories subscription service that is more affordable than most others out there. When you sign up, you share your clothing sizes and some of your style preferences. Then each month, or twice a month depending on which you choose, you’ll be sent a pink bag full of clothing and accessories that they hope you will like!

You get to check everything out at home, and decide what you want to keep and what you don’t wish to keep. The shipment includes a return mailing label that is prepaid, so you can mail back anything you don’t wish to keep without having to pay additional shipping. You’re charged for the items that you chose to keep, and you can fill out a survey rating each item you were sent out of 5 stars. This way, your stylist will learn more about what you like and don’t like over time. 

This month I was sent six items. Here’s what they were!

The dress and necklace were both sent in this shipment. 

I like the basic concept that this necklace was going for, but it looked and felt really cheap to the touch. I know my photo of the necklace blurred a bit so you can’t see it well, but the necklace was extremely lightweight so it almost felt like wearing a child’s dress-up necklace or something. I like the concept of a gold-toned necklace with a lot of hoops on it, but this one just didn’t look or feel well made. It was listed as $34.99 which I thought seemed overpriced, also.

I really like the dress! It is a really soft material that I associate with lularoe, people often refer to this type of fabric as ‘buttery soft’. It’s slightly fuzzy yet stretchy and breathable – so comfortable! I like how it’s fairly modest so it could be styled in a business casual sort of way, or it could be worn to a funeral or you could use accessories to make it feel really casual. Definitely a keeper for me! It is $37.99.

If you’ve seen almost any of my previous Nadine West shipments then you’ll know that I love their jean-like leggings that they often send me. It’s so nice to be able to be as comfortable as I am in leggings while looking like I’m wearing real jeans! This pair was another like that. They have no button or fly, just a stretchy waist band, but functioning pockets. These are $37.99.

I was kind of surprised to receive a sleeveless top in October. I sometimes wish Nadine West would be a bit more mindful of seasons or climates that their customers live in. Here in Michigan we have had a very unseasonably warm few days recently, getting up into the 70’s, but it’s still not sleeveless top weather. Prior to that, we had our first snow of the season – so it’s been all over the place this year. Most of the time October is more around 45-60 degrees. So I’d prefer to receive long-sleeved clothing in October than sleeveless or even short-sleeved shirts. That aside, I do really like his shirt. It does a nice job of disguising the belly area. I’ll put it away for next summer. It is $27.99.

The top is a pretty basic pink v-neck, but I wear basic tops like this almost all the time and I like wearing pink so it’s definitely one that I’ll get lots of wear out of. It is $29.99 which I see as overpriced for such a basic shirt. I like it though, just not the price tag. 

The bottoms are a “buttery soft” material that is slightly fuzzy. The side panels have a mesh area, and then a criss-cross ankle. There are pockets on each side as well which are perfect for holding a phone. These are comfy and I wear leggings a lot at home, so they’re a keeper for me. These are $29.99. 

This was a really good subscription bag for me! I didn’t keep the necklace, but I kept all 5 of the other items. Hard to beat that!
