Tenikle octopus mount

Tenikle sent me a mount for review. All opinions are my own.

If you follow me on my other blog, Wavy Hair Care, then you’ve probably noticed that I’ve been working on video content in addition to blogging. While I have over 10 years of blogging experience now, making video content feels like a whole different ball game!

Anyway, I have some regular tripods that I’m able to use to hold my DSLR camera for recording videos, or for holding my iPhone when I record videos on my phone. While they’re awesome tools, they aren’t always great for getting specific angles, or for using in odd scenarios. If I’m going to sit on my couch and record, a standard tripod is fine. If I’m moving around, I need a camera/phone mount that can move around more, too.

This is everything it comes with.

That’s why I was curious about trying Tenikle. It’s an octopus-inspired mount that has three legs with lots of suction cups, so it looks like an octopus tentacle. These sections are really strong and secure. If you’d like, you can use these sections on one of the arms to hold your device. I found that as long as I have two sections on my phone, it’ll hold really securely.

Or if you prefer, it has a fourth “arm” that is really flexible and can hold your phone or other devices securely, and then can be twisted to get the exact angle you’d like.

The fourth arm attachment is really sturdy, it’s so sturdy that I wasn’t convinced it could bend, at first! Thankfully my boyfriend figured out that I just wasn’t using enough force. When you push hard enough, it bends just fine. I think that speaks to how sturdy it is, though!

I’ve only used his with my phone so far but I’ve found it handy. It will sometimes come unsuctioned if I don’t get a really secure setup the first time. As a result, I’ve learned to really look closely at the angles of the arms and make sure that they are well aligned with the surface I’m trying to get the suction to stick to. As long as I get a secure fit, the Tenikle will stay put. With the three arms being so bendable, it can be used in locations that I wouldn’t usually think of. For example, it can be stuck to the side of y laptop to hold my phone up in view so I can use both screens. Or, it could be used to wrap around handle bars to display your phone in the center. You may have to pause and think outside of the box to even come up with different ways that Tenikle can be useful! It’s so unique.

The Tenikle is waterproof and can hold up to 30lbs. So, you really can use it in so many different ways if you’re creative enough to think them up!

I am impressed by how innovative and useful this product is. I am sure my grandkids could figure out multiple ways to use this.

Tenikle would be super to use with our phones. This seems like a handy and useful item for all family members.

That is really handy. I think I could use it for my portable speaker too.

I could use this in the kitchen for recipes or if I wanted music for when I cook.

The design of this phone mount is really neat! This would be really helpful when I need to read instructions as I’m working on crafts or DIY projects.

    sorry Can’t recommend!
they should have thought about many people have leather or faux leather dashboards that it won’t stick to. Also that the Iphone pro max will not fit in the phone clip. You can’t use with many phone cases. The biggest complaint: They have no phone number to call for support. just email. That sucks!

Ordered 5 to give as gifts for Christmas but they arrived two days after. Had to get replacements and now the co. only offers communication through email, and it’s been weeks and no reply! On top of everything, it’s not a good product! Sticks to nothing! Only stick is me – stuck with this lemon!
