I was sent a humidifier for review. There are affiliate links in his post. All opinions are my own.
We’ve had some pretty cold days in Michigan already. As I type this, it’s 42 degrees which is warmer than it had been the last couple of days. While we’re technically less than a month into fall, it feels like winter is close!
I like using humidifiers in the winter to combat dryness in the air. Did you know that your hair and skin literally maintain less moisture when the air is dryer? It’s true! So, if you struggle with dry hair or skin during the winter, using a humidifier in your home may help. I also like having a humidifier to use if we get head colds which seem to happen more in the winter.
I was sent the Vewior 6.5L humidifier for review. This is a fairly basic humidifier, but I am pretty happy about that. I don’t need or want bells and whistles with a humidifier. You can simply remove the top to add water. There is a transparent plastic panel on one side of the humidifier that allows you o see how much water is inside. The plastic panel has a max fill line that you can use to ensure you don’t overfill the machine.
Once you have water inside, you close the lid, hit the power button 1-3 times (once for high, twice for medium, or here for low speeds) and it will start producing cool mist to add water to the air in the room.
The mist comes out of a sort of cloud-shaped hole in the lid of the humidifier. It comes with a gray plug that you can use to plug the hole. You’ll need to remove this when in use to let the mist out. Personally, I expect to lose that plug but it isn’t essential to the use or function of the humidifier so that’s okay.
The set came with a spongey brush that they said is for cleaning the humidifier. I will probably just use a sponge or scrub brush that I already own as the one they provided seems pretty fragile. With the humidifier just having two parts, I think it should be pretty easy to clean.
You can add essential oils to the water if you’d like to use your humidifier as an essential oil diffuser. The water tank is 6.5 liters which is quite a bit of water. I like how it is generously sized so you can fill it with water and not have to re-fill it too frequently. The company says it can run from 30-60 hours depending on whether it’s used on low, medium or high speed. If the tank runs out, the light on the lid panel will blink 3 times and then turn itself off.

This humidifier seems very easy to use and has a good runtime. It would be great to have in my bedroom.
My sister lives in Michigan also and has been telling me about the weather. This Vewior 6.5L humidifier would be perfect for her there and I am sure would help with dry nose and congestion.
