Geneverse sent me a solar generator bundle for review. All opinions are my own.
You may not often think about generators as gift ideas, but I think that the Geneverse HomePower ONE pro solar generator bundle would make an awesome gift.
No matter where you live, there’s always some risk that you’ll occasionally lose electricity. Therefore, anyone can benefit from having a backup energy supply. The Geneverse HomePower One Pro is a battery that can be charged with AC outlet, carport, solar panels or gas generator. Once you have the battery charged, it can hold that charge for up to a year! That way, whenever you lose power, your battery pack will be ready to go.
The HomePower One Pro battery has a 1210Wh capacity and 2400W of surge power. This can power your fridge or freezer for 10-35 hours, your PC for 2-14 days, your CPAP machine for 3-14 days, etc. Plus, with the solar panels you can recharge the battery while using it.
The home power one and home power one pro to show the size differences.
I own the Geneverse HomePower One battery and two panels, and those have been great. This HomePower one PRO series is an upgrade, though. This battery is physically larger and stores more power so it will last longer in the event of a power outage. The solar power 2 panels have 50% higher efficiency. The solar panels have supportive stands to help prop the panels up, but they also have four panels that are sort of accordion-style, so it’s capable of staying up without the support stands in my experience.
The HomePower One Pro battery can run my fridge or deep freezer, which will be our #1 priority if we lose power. We don’t want to lose money by having our food spoil. I love having the peace of mind that now that won’t happen. I appreciate the solar panels because of how ecofriendly they are, but I also like how the battery can be recharged via car outlet. This way, if we were to lose power when it was really overcast and the battery wasn’t recharging quickly enough, we could use our vehicle to recharge the generator.
When you have something plugged into the generator it shows you information about how much the battery is being used. This was with our iPad charging.
Having a solar generator can provide a lot of peace of mind, which I think makes it a great gift for anyone. However, it could be an especially awesome gift for people who are into prepping, or going off-grid camping. How cool would it be to go camping off-grid but have this battery with you so that you could keep your phone charged for safety reasons?
This sort of generator is so much easier to use than gas-powered ones. Anyone who is familiar with a power bank can easily learn to use these batteries as they can be seen as massive power banks! It’s also really nice how these can be kept indoors unlike other types of generators, no extension cords needed.

We have power outages here due to storms so this generator would be very good to have. I like this idea much better than the gas powered ones.

This would be nice for my parents. They wouldn’t have to mess with candles when thee power goes out.

This sounds like an awesome generator; I love that it is solar! This really helps during trying times, as you can recharge it while using. I am definitely going to have to invest in one of these. I agree that our refrigerator would be the most important thing for my family to keep running as well. Thank you so much for your review!

We lost our electric for about an hour the other day. But I was worried. It would be nice to have a Geneverse solar generator on hand.

Thanks for the review. We have a gas powered generator, while I’m grateful that we have it this one looks so much easier to use.
We get hurricanes sometimes here in South Carolina, so it is good to have a generator handy for when we lose power due to storms. My hubby would love this!
