I was sent set of Up Tech Instruments HISS Color LED Light Bars for review. There are affiliate links in this post. All opinions are my own.
LED lights are great for creating ambiance in a room, for getting the vibes right.
These light bars are RGBIC, not RGB like most light strips. That basically means they can show multiple colors at once, up to a rainbow-like configuration, or better yet a waterfall of complimenting colors moving through the light bars.
The bars can be connected to their stands vertically or horizontally. They also come with adhesive mounting pads, allowing you to mount them to the back of a tv or computer monitor for example. It’s a little touch but I like how they come with two cord management clips with adhesive backs, you don’t want messy cord management to ruin the aesthetics of your carefully cultivated vibes!
You can control the light bars with a small remote or with a mobile app. The app comes programmed with twelve light shows and ten ambient background light modes. It also has the ability to program your own light shows with it’s very intuitive app. It’s hard to overstate how in depth you can get with customizing your own light shows!
The app that controls the light bars can connect with smart homes, and the app allows you to do some really neat things. You could have the light bars play a relaxing sunrise light as an alarm!
The killer feature though is the light bars have a sound sensor, and can react to sound! With 4 different sound modes, the light bars can react to music in interesting and beautiful displays of light.

These lights create a nice effect. They’re not too bright and the design is so modern.

These light bars look so neat and easy to use with an app. I like the idea of a waterfall with colors.
These are neat! I think they would definitely improve the ambiance of our living room. I think my kids would like to seem them too!
