Ruko sent me a drone for review. There are affiliate links in this post. All opinions are my own.
A lot of men or even teen boys have received a drone as a gift before. A common experience is to enjoy beginner-level drones for a while, to watch them fly around a bit, but then sort of run out of ideas for how to enjoy them further.
If you know someone who is ready for a “next level” drone with impressive features – the Ruko F11GIM2 drone is a great choice. This isn’t a beginner’s drone. This isn’t just fun to fly, it can take awesome pictures and videos.
The F11GIM2 has a long control range so you can fly quite far from where you’re at with your remote control. It has a 4K camera with 2-axis gimbal and EIS stabilization. If you aren’t familiar with 4k, most will tell you that 4K is the best resolution currently available for video games, streaming and watching movies. So, this camera is a really impressive one. You’ll have no trouble getting photos and videos with this drone that will be suitable for your YouTube channel or social media posts.
The F11GIM2 has 2 intelligent batteries that can provide up to 56 minutes of flight time.
This drone and its remote control both fold down really compact, and it comes with a storage case that is really easy to transport. The device can support up to a 128GB TF card. It can fly up to 393 feet, and can operate in temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
With two gimbals and electronic stabilization, this drone will capture smoother footage than other drones. It has a GPS function that allows you to set it in a “follow me” mode so you can easily capture your moving subject without having to manually control ever movement of the drone. The GPS also enables it to have a ‘return home’ option. It will automatically return home if it loses signal or has low battery.
It’s also capable of setting a point of interest. You can select an object or other point of interest and the drone will perform a 360 degree flight to capture your subject thoroughly.
This is a gift that is sure to please anyone looking to level up their drone game! When first looking to use the drone, I’d suggest watching this beginners video. It helps spells out the basics for how to use the drone successfully and safely.
Right now the Ruko site has a sale going on the F11Gim2 4k drone so it’s a great time to buy. This is a gift that is sure to please!

Emily… I’m new to Drones…. My first is the F11 Gim2…. Luv it… I’m 72 and cell phone for the view screen was a real challenge… Cut to the chase…. Just for your info… This add-on Hanatora 4.7-12.9 Inch Tablet Holder Mount https://www.amazon.com/dp/B098JPS1VJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details ///// is made for DJI drones.. VERY WELL CONSTRUCTED but works perfect for the Ruko…….. All you have to do is make a wooden plate 5.75″ by 2.5″ and 3/8″ thick…. This will thicken the plate so it slides into the handle mount area snugly…..
I use in with a Samsung 12 inch tablet….. or… you can still use it with a cell phone…
Just for your info…. Have pics if your interested….
This looks fun! We’ve never had a drone before, but I could see my hubby liking this. I think this would be really nice for a friend in real estate or real estate photography/videography or even wedding photography!
