Nadine West sent me clothing subscription bags for review. There are affiliate links in this blog post. All opinions are my own.
If you’re new here, let me give you an overview of what Nadine West is. Nadine West is a subscription service that delivers personalized outfits to your doorstep each month, or twice a month if you prefer. You take a style quiz and then receive a package of surprise outfits, consisting of items styled with your fashion preferences in mind. You keep only the items you love, and return the rest using the included return shipping label. The items start at $13 and the service is free. The only cost is a shipping debit, which is credited towards your purchase as long as you keep 1 item.
I’m going to do a double review, sharing the contents of two different Nadine West shipments. This first one was one where I took pictures a few weeks ago. It came with six items.
These earrings are pretty, but I don’t really wear long earrings so I decided to pass on them. They are $17.99 to keep.
I love this subtle purple color of this dress. I wish it was a shirt instead of a dress. For a dress, it’s not quite fitted enough to suit my preferences. I was a bit surprised that the price for this was $39.99 as it’s a pretty simple dress.
This cardigan has a little tie feature in the center which I thought makes it look a little bit dressier than some other cardigans. I thought it would be great to have to wear over dresses in colder weather. It was a keeper for me. It is $39.99.
The top and bottoms here were both sent in this shipment. The sleeves on the top aren’t my style. I think it would be cute on someone else, it just isn’t me. It costs $33.99.
The leggings are a material that I find in Nadine West bags fairly frequently, but I never really see in stores. It reminds me a bit of Halloween costume material. I find it to feel cheap and scratchy, so I never keep leggings that are this fabric. They are $39.99 to keep which feels quite overpriced to me, honestly.
‘
The last top was this brown cross-over top. I really like cross-over tops like this. They feel a bit dressier than most other tops, even when they are otherwise fairly plain. I don’t wear a ton of brown but I liked the style of this shirt enough that I decided to keep it. It is $28.99.
Okay – switching over to the second bag that I was sent! This one was really recent.
This shipment included six items as well!
This dress is nearly a simple t-shirt dress style but it does taper in a bit at the natural waist and chest which makes it a little nicer looking than a true t-shirt dress, in my opinion. I like a lot of floral patterns, but the colors and specific flower patterns in this print didn’t appeal to me too much. The fabric is really soft and feels well made, it just isn’t my style. This dress is $34.99.
This dress is a really light, almost-mesh type fabric but it’s not as scratchy as mesh. It’s really light and breathable though, I can see this being awesome for a really hot day. I like the floral pattern with the black background, and I like how it comes in slightly at the waist. I also like the ruffled bottom edge, and the sleeves are a little bit of a bell but not too much to bother me. I really debated about keeping this because I do like it. I opted not to keep it just because I don’t love it, and I don’t wear dresses a ton so I usually only getting around to wearing the dresses that I do really love. This one is $44.99 to keep, making it one of the more expensive items I’ve ever been sent from Nadine West.
This cardigan is the same color and brand as some other cardigans I’ve received in past Nadine West bags, including the one higher up in this post! This one is longer and looser than the other ones I received. I kept the other two, and I kept this one also! Living in Michigan, I can make use of cardigans frequently throughout the year, whether wearing them over dresses or more casual clothing. I think gray is a nice basic color that can pair with lots of other colors so I thought I’d get good use out of this one. It is $39.99, which I do find it a bit pricey, though it does feel really sturdy.
The top and bottoms shown here were both sent in this shipment.
The top is a hoodie style but it’s just a thin t-shirt material. I don’t usually wear a lot of blue but I like the hoodie-like look of this. It is thin and I fear it may wrinkle easily, so I plan to hang it up rather than leave it in my dresser. I like it though! It is $39.99 to keep and again, I’m surprised at how much Nadine West has raised prices recently. I’d expect this to cost more like $25 as it is just a top not a real hoodie.
The bottoms remind me of lularoe material which I love. The photo makes it look like one leg is different than the other. I had black socks on and one pant leg was pulled down and the other wasn’t. The legs actually match, sorry for the weird photo! These are jogger style so they have tight ankles but are roomy in the thighs. I love this material, it’s just so cozy and simple black joggers are something I wear a lot. Definitely a keeper for me. These are $39.99 and I again feel like the price is a bit excessive. I’ve bought joggers on Amazon in this same material for around $15 a pair.
Overall, these were both decent bags for me. I kept a couple items out of each bag because they suited my style. I have noticed that the prices have increased quite a bit. I hope that starts to change. I have noticed prices were inflated on other items for a while but have started to come back down in my area. So I hope that Nadine West brings prices back down a bit as well.
If you’d like to see what a Nadine West stylist would choose for you, you can sign up today! You just pay a shipping fee upfront, and then the cost of shipping will be taken off the price of any item you keep, basically making shipping free in the end.

Looking at all the different outfits they were cute but if I received most of them they would go back. I guess in a way I am so picky. I have been in stores and looked at some of th stuff out and I would not take them if they free. So in a way I am to picky and another way I am retired and still have lot of stuff that I have not gotten rid of.
Lots of items I like in these 2 shipments. The crossover top is just a perfect style for you, as are the cardigans. It is not easy to find cardigans that are good with dresses, but these really work.
